  1. Automatic Qualifiers: Morikawa, DJ, Bryson, Koepka, JT, Cantlay Guaranteed Captain Picks: Spieth, Xander That leaves a bubble of 4. I think Finau makes it. 7th in Ryder Cup points, 9th in OWGR, recent big win and passable Ryder Cup/President's Cup record (only 2 losses in 7 matches). English is probably next in line given his OWGR and Ryder Cup rankings (11 and 10, respectively) and two 2021 wins. Reed's illness provides a great excuse to leave him out and the rest of the dudes are tough to separate.

Shocking that Mack had the most vaginal possible reaction to Vince's proclamation after the Michigan win.
  3. 2011 1st round exit (0-3 loss as 4 seed to unseeded opposition) 2010 Did not make tournament 2009 Did not make tournament 2008 1st round exit (0-2 loss to UNC-Charlotte) Her extension in 2019 was a worse decision than the Herman extension. Arguably CDC's worst decision at Texas
  4. I must have missed the new coach announcement

Funny that Ream was selected to the squad to serve as Reyna's handler
  6. The U.S. and the world at large would significantly benefit if we increased abortion levels tenfold.
  7. Almost all national politicians (with a few exceptions like Ron Paul, Barbara Lee and Bernie) love war. Supporting endless war is our most notable source of bipartisanship.
  8. Sounds like Andreas Pereira (United's version of Kenedy) is also on his way to Flamengo on loan
  9. The Afghanistan conflict (and the Iraq wars for that matter) achieved exactly what they were intended to. Preserving and enriching the military-industrial complex beyond its wildest dreams. It was a stunning success for those traitors who are now either worm food or relaxing in their beachfront compound in Naples while the world burns. You have to wonder where we would be today without hanging chads. Meanwhile, W is now almost celebrated by corporate media as a goofy amateur painter who sneaks candy to his buddy Michelle O at events involving the past Presidents.

    EPL 2021-22

Their status as a clear favorite is somewhat predicated on Kane joining. He solves all of their issues and no one can match their strength in depth. Injuries and fatigue are coming for everyone and they are best equipped to manage through those issues. Also no AFCON exposure and limited CONMEBOL quarantine concerns. Title race may be on if they have to play a false 9 all season. That said, they ran away with the league last season while scoring the most goals despite Aguero only playing in 12 games and scoring 4 goals.

Sure. Kane scored as many goals in his second least prolific EPL season as Lukaku did in his second most prolific EPL season.

    USWNT 2021

Pretty much this. The player pool needs to be expanded significantly ASAP or the next world cup could be ugly for the USWNT.

Yeah. Chelsea isn't making up 19 points on a team that adds Grealish and Kane.

I noticed that. City is a big favorite to repeat. If Kane goes to City, it's over before it begins. If he doesn't, there could be a multiteam title race although Chelsea is best equipped to challenge. Lukaku's problem at United was poor service and that won't be a problem at Chelsea if Tuchel plays the right forwards. Liverpool is getting long in the tooth and this is also an AFCON season. United isn't winning a title without a new DM and that appears to be unlikely. Agree that the top-4 should remain the same as last year unless someone gets hit with major injuries. On paper, there is a significant gulf between the Top 4 and the rest.
  16. Wrong. WTB is a better Deadhead and Phan than you. He will inform you of this in due course.
  17. Beijing 2022 should be a ratings disaster.

I'm more than familiar with Jozy's work. Young American striker with middling finishing ability moving to a bottom quarter EPL team that just sold its best creator doesn't strike me as a recipe for success.

Has Jozy to Sunderland written all over it.
