  1. Its got car chases, explosions, and chicks in bikinis.....everything you need.
  2. Maybe this has been asked and answered here, but I didn't see it. I got one of these things for Christmas, and I am interested in steaming veggies, etc. Do I have to (or do you recommend) buy a steaming basket?

    Carson

    Damn that was funny
  4. I'm in 2nd place , so it must be the latter
  5. All my prior predictions are gone. My score is still there but all prior Predictions are missing
  6. The victory set the stage for the first Rider-Old High rivalry postseason matchup in history.
  7. Can comment on the 50 million number, but back then there were only 2 games per weekend broadcast. And sometimes just one. Tex Ark was moved to December, so I bet it was the only game in on.
  8. What? Wichita Falls not even getting honorable mention on Texas worst list!
  9. I rewatched all of Breaking Bad over the last few weeks, and this morning I watched Felina and rolled right into the movie. I enjoyed the movie and probably caught all the easter eggs. If you haven't rewatched, but are familiar with BB (ie. 2013 wasn't the last time you watched it), you'll get 90% of them. At the end of BB you know what happened to Gus, Hank, Saul, Hector, Tuco, Don Eladio, Todd, Uncle Jack, and Walt (hopefully you were one of those dumb-asses who thought Walt survived). The movie nicely tells what happened to Jesse. That being said, if you aren't familiar with BB, you're not going to get much from the movie.
  10. They said they told DTV they wouldn't accept a contract. What happened to me was that I called with a service question. The tried to upsell me to an electronics protection plan. I told them no, absolutely not. They billed me anyway. Then out of the clear blue sky they told me my bill was going up because I orded a third genie mini. I didn't have 3 minis, didn't ask for a third, didn't want a third. Wasn't until I threatened them with reporting this fraud to the state attorney general that they relented. So I bet DTV just noted them into a "contract" even though the family didn't want one.
  11. San Lorenzo woman dies at 102, DirecTV charges early termination fee They tried this kind of fuck-stick fraud on me twice. Glad to be rid of them.
  12. May be wrong, but I thought Prosecution wanted to bring in that Guyger failed a polygraph (ie. lied), but didn't want to tell them why (supposedly because she had stolen a brownie and a pen). but there was a lot of (to a layman) seemed like incoherent discussion about it.
  13. Law dogs, I guess after lunch we start the penalty phase. What do you think we'll get to hear that didn't make it into the guilt/innocence phase? the MLK thing that was shot down? her social media stuff? Anything else
  14. Judge said (presumably to the jury), you're going to have a long lunch break, then....
  15. Live feed says Red Light came on. Does that mean the jury has a verdict?
  16. WFAA reporter says the Defense's case is over. Speculates that they dismissed to prepare jury instructions, and will present closing arguments Monday.
  17. Apartment complex must be loving all the free publicity about their locks and general security.
  18. Twice, I understand that. But I've been on 4 juries (2 criminal). I've even had them with the defendant testifying. Never seen anything like this cross. Yeah after some boring experts and maybe a weekend, it wont be as visceral, but that left a mark.
  19. They like will, but damn-it being under stress is part of the job. Not everything they see is "a call" in which they have time to mentally prepare en route. Sometime they see shit and have to immediately decide what to do. She was trained to do X but she did Y and killed someone. The jury will have to decide whether she intentionally did the wrong thing, or was her training so bad that she was never going to succeed as a cop. Its possible she thought she was on 3rd floor and not the 4th, but that stop (when the guy got ahead of her in the garage) makes me thing it could have been intentional, but I can't say that beyond a reasonable doubt. But I have little doubt that once she "heard the sound of someone moving", which was before she opened the door, her actions were intentional, wanting to neutralize the "threat". Finally, she was standing in the doorway will a well lit hallway behind her. She bursts in and says, "show me your hands" but Jean in his dark apartment, likely only sees a silhouette. She didn't say "Police, show me your hands"
  20. Did she just say she got blood on her uniform? Forensics said no blood.
