  1. I think they’re taking the show too serious. The Easter episode is the only one that made me laugh multiple times throughout. The rest are interesting but not all that funny. It’s just different now.
  2. It’s not this site it’s society. FFS, the President can’t even commemorate Memorial Day without a cloak room rant. Everything that happens in this country is under that microscope. Good luck pretending news can be just news anymore, lolz
  3. The first part sounds really stupid, I don't see La Tech turning down more money and prestige in the Sunbelt by voluntarily staying in the zombie Conference USA because of a beef with a nearby rival. Wouldn't it be the other way around that ULM would try and convince its partners to reject a rival? And no way the Sunbelt poaches AAC, especially Memphis. The money is still better in the AAC as is the prestige despite the Sunbelts recent football success. Memphis is staying put unless they can get an ACC or Big 12 invite. The renovated Liberty Bowl stadium might help their cause.
  4. I guess Texas is out of the Sunbelt altogether, the only team left is Sam Houston, and I don't think they are Sunbelt worthy. Sounds like La Tech or Western Kentucky. My guess in WKU, there's likely a reason La. Tech is always left behind.
  5. If it was a setup to harm his football career he should sue back but the lack of evidence and the he-said, she-said nature of these things goes both ways. The more common story is that his football career is harmed, she starts getting threats, and drops the case. It's an unfortunate reality. Nobody except them two will ever know the truth.
  6. They'll expand it first to include any show with a gay character. Then any show that conservatives don't like for any reason. There's no stop to this.
  7. It’s still very wordy and has gotten cheesier and more predictable but I like these people and am enjoying the show. Just finished S4 E7.
  8. I mean you and your condom buddies are the ones who destroyed the conference, kind of disingenuous to be bitching about what happens to what you left behind. (no criticism of the decision, money is money).
  9. I think that's just message board stuff. The administrators making the decisions are just looking at the money. If they can make more by excluding others they'll go that direction. If not, they'll be fine with the status quo.
  10. The FCS games are for early season warmups or for SEC a November rest week. There are other matchups every week for TV purposes. The networks know the ratings will be low for those games, they would be the ones pressing to stop them if it was a problem.
  11. Can someone learn me on vpn for iPhone? Does it matter which one? Are any of them free? Asking for a friend.
  12. So is today the day Texas State gets called up? Go ‘Dillos!
  13. That's what Barron would look like if Donald was actually his dad.
  14. Does it bother you at all that he and his fuck bois are out there insisting on "complete obliteration" and rage tweeting like an emo tween at any media outlet that suggests otherwise?
  15. im not anti-Semitic. please dont put in the newspaper that i got anti-Semitic.
  16. Nobody anywhere doubted it could be pulled off especially against the Iranian military. The issue currently is his and his minions' insistence on always having to be the bestest or greatest thing ever which is a complete insult to the people who fought prior wars against legitimate enemies in some of the most complex and tactical missions ever conceived and executed upon. Flying a plane into the desert and dropping some bombs on a mountain surrounded by goat fuckers pales in comparison. Sure its complex and well executed, but the puffery and comparisons are what are insanely idiotic and unnecessary.
  17. That’s a good point especially after he gave Jerry such hell for turning down the manage. Was it because he wasn’t attracted to the tan one?
  18. I think it was Dan Carlin’s podcast where I learned that Japanese culture at the time made surrender unthinkable. The alternative was firebombing Tokyo which would have killed a lot more people including American soldiers. The Emperor’s perceived divinity was a major issue and some within the Japanese military didn’t believe word of the surrender or disagreed with it and tried to keep fighting even after the second bomb. He even described finding Japanese soldiers in Southeast Asia decades later hiding in jungles who had no opponents to fight but they were ready. It was a lot I didn’t know or hadn’t really thought about. I don’t think it’s possible to form a real opinion on the morality of using the bombs to end that war. Back on topic, our leaders are fucking toddlers. It’s fucking fine to acknowledge that “complete obliteration” wasn’t necessary and wasn’t the goal. There are still strategic wins to be claimed. But nope gotta be like a 4 year old promising he drank all his milk and didn’t feed it to the cat. Super duper promise I’m not lying! And now it was the biggest most strategic thing evar! Fucking pathetic beta shit.
  19. I'm seeing this all over social media. Any confirmation of what the fan said? Obviously something far more specific than just vulgar mom insults.
