  1. Source is apparently a Marxist. Yet....
  2. Coincidentally just came across this on Reddit: https://www.psypost.org/2022/02/new-research-suggests-a-startling-number-of-americans-have-contemplated-suicide-because-of-politics-62452 Very off topic to this thread, but probably in agreement w/your post, so thought you might find it interesting.
  3. Oh shit, its your favorite wall of text quotes again, which have nothing to do with what I said.
  4. I actually agree with you on this overall. Its why the politicization of a global pandemic by the group in control prior to this one and their Feaux News mouthpieces was and is so damn annoying.
  5. Really sorry about your eye problems. But just so you know you should tell those of us who “want socialism” to fuck off to the hellscapes of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, e.t.c. Then you could go ahead and protest Fire Fighters and Libraries. Even then, there is no purely Socialist country just as there is no purely communist country. If I recall correctly you are a nice person (although telling people to fuck off due to misunderstanding political theories belies that a tad) so don’t take this as insulting you or being insensitive to your pains. Some much less nice people than you get these terms mixed up all the time and never learn. https://www.history.com/news/socialism-communism-differences Again, truly sorry for your pains. Understand though that the main purpose of the vaccine was to prevent you from needlessly dying in the hospital. Seems it has done that. As to the people spreading. Some of us get upset that many folks won’t do the bare minimum and act as if wearing a mask is somehow an authoritarian infringement on their freedoms. “Authoritarian” is another term they don’t seem to understand too well.
  6. This. Why did he not refuse dialysis?
  7. I've been quiet on this one, but I have to confess. I really fucking love Spotify. I don't use it for podcasts, but I am daily user of the app. My issues tend to be with how they keep fucking up the 'home page' and trying to put Podcasts in my face is definitely one of the ways they fuck it up. But I ain't quitting Spotify, sorry.
  8. They have no empathy. Not even for their own families. You know that many of them know deep down that their anti-vaxx stance is bullshit. But somehow dying for their team is more important than living for their family. I got my booster shot this week at the local National Guard Armory. Plenty of those black American flag masks. Punisher stuff too. And you know what I thought? I thought good for you. We may disagree on certain matters but we found enough common ground to get a vaccine and live to disagree with each other. Yesterday I had a beautiful day with my family. Today I am up on the mountain with my son. I don’t know if I would have died without the vaccine but it sure seems like I was in that 50/50 category. Instead I get to enjoy more days of living for which I am grateful. Many anti-vaxxed won’t have those days. And they leave behind devastation and pain in their wake. No more sunrises. Just sad.
  9. or you could have had an asymptomatic infection, right? Either way, best of luck to you.
  10. Wow. Hang in there!
  11. Made the mistake of peeking at some comments. Should have known better.
  12. He made the Fox News run: https://www.sorryantivaxxer.com/post/robert-lamay-50-naches-wa-ex-state-trooper-anti-vaxxer-dead-from-covid
  13. Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said, “You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.” 22 When he heard this, he was shocked and went away grieving, for he had many possessions. 23 Then Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were perplexed at these words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how hard it is[b] to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.
  14. I am sure Neil Young will miss the one dollar and 67 cents a month Spotify paid him.
  15. I won't defend one word of the asshat to whom you are replying. But I have avatars turned off and will quickly admit I often confuse these two posters when reading threads.

  17. That has been the plan all along imo and not just at the SC level. Analysis: 'Aggressively conservative' Supreme Court plunges into U.S. culture wars https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/aggressively-conservative-supreme-court-plunges-into-us-culture-wars-2022-01-25/ Just wait until they get ahold of workers….

  19. Have not visited this thread in some time. This may be too late for some, but I cannot recommend Dr. Robert Graham in Austin enough for any of your shoulder issues. I had a torn labrum and the first ortho I visited said 'you don't need surgery here is a cortisone shot.' Felt better, not great for a week. Went to Dr. Graham's office--he did not push surgery. He instead gave recommended PT for a certain amount of time and then up to me. I would up doing the surgery and then PT. Absolute game changer in my life. Could throw a baseball with my kid again with no pain. Could put on a shirt again with both arms. All kinds of things. When he went in he found not just a torn labrum, but other things to 'clean up.' Over two years later and shoulder is still doing good. I make sure to always have light weight shoulder movements (side laterals, front raises, e.t.c.) and consider them like flossing. Never heavy, no showing off. All worth it, imo. I won't lie, rehab was one of the most painful things I have ever done. Just the PT doing simple stretches would have me nearly crying. But in the long run was so, so worth it.
  20. Acording to wikipedia Cher is 75 now. She's not imagining more people of her generation and older within the arts dying. Covid related or not. I'm in early 50s and have already noticed it. Getting older as the inevitable dead end roller coaster approaches its final stop isn't all that fun to think about.
  21. Hey, we're all forgetful at times. It was talked about. You can start about here and read up if you want.
