  1. These are not the people we want on the roads.
  2. WHY GOD WHYYYYYY!?!?????? so so cold……. So very cold.
  3. I never watch shows. Never. I stopped 20 years ago. For some weird fucking reason I watched all ten hours of this shit and I might never watch shows again.
  4. It was a great story, and one that needs to be told, but I loathe how Gameday has turned into continuous stories that are more befitting for Oprah. It’s like they put out a search for every player linked to cancer, suicide, homicide, etc… every producer uses Gameday as their chance to win an Emmy. Gameday is unwatchable in stretches as the late Saturday morning CFB pep rally it used to be.
  5. Bought a Samsung fridge when we moved into our house in 2015. It’s the biggest piece of shit in our home. Ice maker went out within two years and now it can barely stay cool, or you know, refrigerate. Neighbor moved in a few months after us, bought the same fridge and has had the same issues.
  6. In case anyone wanted to watch the Season Ending video that aired to close out the game broadcast:
  7. This is too good 😂 “I am here.”
  8. The Dominos app is ridiculously convenient. The daughter loves it, so we go that route about once a week.
  9. Lars is doing laps around my head with his drum kit
  10. Terrible mechanics in sports movies. I really love Bull Durham. I love it as much as anyone, but man Tim Robbins throwing a pitch is cringy as hell. Same with the Harris, the older pitcher in Major League. Some movies do it great. Linklater’s Everybody Wants Some is probably the gold standard for athletes in movies. Even A League of their Own supposedly ran pretty rigid baseball tryouts before casting. a funny footnote to add is that Charlie Sheen juiced up for the filming of Major League and was throwing a legit mid 80’s in the movies. They moved mound up 10 feet to make it appear even a little faster than that.
  11. Bob Saget remembers Norm
  12. Fleshtorch would be a great name for a metal band.
  13. A long time producing partner and close friend of Norm’s was on Bill Simmons’ podcast yesterday and he said that he and, to his knowledge, most all of Norm’s inner circle was oblivious to his battle with cancer. Just very close family and doctors were aware. He said, though, that many quietly thought that Norm was having health issues, especially in the past year, but it was never talked about and nobody assumed it was cancer.
  14. Damn… damn… damn…. Probably not the most mature response, but I felt kinda mad about the news of Norm’s passing. Probably because I’ve spent countless nights over the past 10 years or so going deep downNorm rabbit holes on YouTube. Absolute expert at timing. RIP, Norm. Two of my favorite clips that I don’t think have been posted yet. The News Tiger Woods
  15. A little too on the nose for my taste.
  16. Commercials being considerably louder than the scheduled program. They do it on purpose to grab your attention and it’s a pain in the ass.
  17. The latest Space City Weather update: https://spacecityweather.com/upgrading-to-a-stage-3-flood-alert-as-we-watch-forecast-trends-with-nicholas/
  18. Imelda dropped 20-40” of rain in/around Houston in 2019. I’m in Atascocita and we got about 25” in what seemed to be a 3 hour window. Top and bottom pictures were taken just a few hours apart. Luckily, the drainage started working again and we made out alright, but once the water got close to little bevo, we started moving some things to higher ground.
  19. Oregon absolutely blew Ohio State off the ball on offense and defense. Cristobal has the big dudes playing.
