  1. I might be in the minority, but the oversized KANSAS wordmark they’ve used the past few years has really worked for me. Something very “Kansas” about its overt simplicity
  2. This color scheme is awesome
  3. Checking in on Jane’s Addiction…. 😬 https://variety.com/2025/music/news/perry-farrell-sues-janes-addiction-members-after-they-sued-him-1236462800/
  4. I have no inside info and could easily be wrong, but this really does feel like he’s simply hanging it up for good. He’s been on the scene for almost 40 years and just seems to be ready to retire from the grind of touring and being in the studio creating new music.
  5. I've long thought that Matt's drumming style and personality was key to Pearl Jam's longevity. He always came across as super consistent, reliable, and professional, which is essentially a requirement for a band known for long live shows and a massive studio catalogue.
  6. I remember that movie. The guy gets the death penalty, right? I remember the Astrodome scenes being very cheesy, but I still watched.
  7. Panamanian Banana Crisis sounds like the Beastie Boys third album.
  8. Wasn't sure where to post this and Holy Shit barely edged out lulz.. you ever get so drunk you fight yourself and lose your town to the Ottomans?
  9. Well done Frenchie’s 👏🏼 https://www.reddit.com/r/MadeMeSmile/s/DvBqXkrAHa
  10. Because of the union, he was paid the daily rate an extra would get. Because Candy was there, Hughes was on set that day, the only day he was on set for Home Alone. 20+ hour day, supposedly.
  11. I loved that episode and actually (metaphorically) try to live my life by this philosophy.
  12. I want to see her walk him in on a leash on all fours as the new UNC entrance. I think that's where this is going.
  13. Everybody is forced. There's no skinny people left.
  14. Yep. Outside the obvious merch moneygrab, the point of a throwback uniform is that you strengthen your brand by allowing fans to reminisce about watching their team play in those uniforms again. Nobody in central Tennessee from the 60’s-90’s grew up watching and rooting for the Oilers or even had the slightest connection. I just have a hard time believing a Tennessee based franchise’s bottom line is best served by a cheap moneygrab inspired by a decades old grudge between a dead Houston billionaire’s beef with a dead Houston mayor, as opposed to focusing on their own market.
  15. Houston Oilers-Boston Patriots at Fenway Park 1968. Just beautiful.

  17. Yeah, those mugshots looked exactly what I thought they’d look like.
