  1. These guys are all in the top 0.001% of drivers in the world. They're accustomed to winning, not playing 2nd fiddle to anyone so when we see a young driver getting uppity about team orders, I feel like that's expected whether it's George, Lewis, Max, or Liam Lawson. The "team" concept in F1 is so convoluted anyways - every single driver out there is 99% me, 1% team regardless of what they may say on the radio. I don't hold it against any of these guys when the team asks them to step aside and then they get upset about it. Even Max f'ing Checo last year at Sao Paulo (I think....) - 100% selfish and 100% expected. Some guys actually follow team orders like Gasly and Russell this past weekend but none of them are happy about it.
  2. Back to your regularly scheduled max domination show.

Two posts praising Dest inspired this? And we're the ones that should be worried about being exhausted?

His ball skills are off the charts. And he's fast as fuck. So fun to watch when he's really feeling it.
  5. If there were a prototypical office of a mad scientist, that office is it.
  6. Lol at "N/A" next to Alonso. F'in Stroll... I'm surprised Lewis was faster than George - when George wasn't running to walls, it looked like he was in the fray more often and Lewis was just hanging around. Or maybe that's exactly why Lewis was faster.
  7. Best race of the year by far. Lot of strategy, timing luck, and a hell of a hunt at the end. Lando said he hit the same wall just before George did. Maybe following so tight to sit in the slip stream hid the wall sticking out a bit and George hit it just hard enough. Either way, that was fun.
  8. Competition is fun! Really looking forward to tomorrow now.
  9. Pop the champagne!
  10. Wonder how long of a recovery this will take.
  11. But Alex Albon again?!? Go get paid!
  12. Penis, penis, penis. Vagina, vagina, vagina. Pretty much sums up the last two pages.
  13. Presented with reason and logic, they cower and hide. Same with my posts pointing to other countries enacting gun control measures and their outcomes. They have no real refute, so they ignore and strawman. And they are a significant part of this country.
  14. My YTTV worked perfect last race, switched the channel over and everything. You must be an iPhone user. They don't get along with the Googs.
  15. You're right this place is dumb. Thanks for contributing. You're not right that people won't surrender their guns. Some will, some won't. Precedence from other countries that went through this provides evidence for this. You're mostly right, criminals will, likely, figure out a way to get guns. But it will be a lot tougher for them to do so and the net effect is less guns in the hands of criminals. Again, precedence from other countries that went through this provides evidence for this. We do not need to keep legal citizens armed in order for them to be secured. Again, precedence from other countries that went through this provides evidence for this. In fact, precedence from other countries would lead a rational person to the conclusion that allowing enough access to firearms in order to keep legal citizens armed makes us less secured. Our kids are not safe. Precedence from this country provides evidence for this.
  16. Done. Already have.
  17. I wonder how those Brit and Kiwi farmers manage.
  18. Gangs are everywhere on Earth. Violent crime happens everywhere. Criminals are everywhere. Mental illness exists in every corner on this planet. We are not a special case for ANY of those. We are absolutely a special case when it comes to firearm access, especially amongst our peers. We are also a special case, as @Brisketexan pointed out, in murder rate. So why do we continue down this path knowing there is a solution out there that has a far greater chance of success than the shit we're doing now?
  19. I wonder if, relative to the US, the UK and NZ have a bunch of people dying because criminals have illegal guns and the "non-murderers" don't.... Oh, they don't have this issue. Fancy that. Wonder why that is.... Shrug. More guns is the answer.
  20. The only person less capable of holding an effective argument than fatty is this DalTx clown. And he's another one that thinks he's just so clever and smart. The worst kind of combination.
  21. Hank Haney is a clown - he acts like a fool so you pay attention to him. Since Tiger ditched him, his only contribution to golf has been to try to be the Stephen A Smith of golf. It's also widely believed the swing changes Haney installed into Tiger are a big reason for his knee issues. Forget the fact that I do agree with his general premise in this case...

Especially if your family name is Reyna.
  23. Bonmati isn't that short (she's 5'4") but holy hell, she looks like a toddler next to Haaland.
  24. At peak intensity just before landfall:
  25. I do love Spieth. I love what he does for the game. Him, Rory, and Tiger have done more to advance golf than anyone else in the last 10 years (at least) and ultimately, that's what's important to me because I'm a golf sicko. Before the last 2 years, you could add Phil to that list. Jordan and Rory also seem to be great human beings on top of it. And only one of all these is a Longhorn so here I am. I'm a big JT fan as well but he didn't earn this. He may prove me wrong and go Pompei on their ass and I'd be all for it but I think he's leaning on Spieth to accomplish that (which is a rocky boat at the moment).
