  1. I might be putting words in other people's mouths but no one is saying they don't see the difference. The rest of us, I assume, are just contending it's not that big of a difference for all this kerfuffle. Clearly you don't agree. That's cool, too.
  2. Sorry man, I still don't see the big difference that's worth all these words. He wants tight(er) competition in both scenarios and that's ultimately the main takeaway. And I think that's something we all want.
  3. It's not saying the same thing but the difference, in my opinion, is miniscule.
  4. Not a Lewis fan, got it.
  5. You can not like Lewis, he's clearly polarizing, but it still feels kinda nit picky to be annoyed by this particular quote given his history. Pick on his clothes, no one is going to stop you there.
  6. Let's just put this notion to bed that the US isn't stacked, at least relative to the Euro team. Look at whatever rankings you want - OWGR, FedEx, SG: Total, or my personal fav the datagolf rankings. Look how far you have to go down the list to get to the first 12 Americans vs 12 Euros. As an example... In datagolf, the #12 ranked American is #23 Cameron Young. For Europe, JRose is #7 and ranked #21. #12 on the Euro team is ranked #58 Alex Noren, who is behind Adrian Meronk. The Euro's bottom 4 are trash and their 4-7 are ranked well below 4-7 on the US side. I would bet you can run this exercise with whatever golf ranking you'd like and arrive at similar results. Side debate - Koepka is not in the top 12 and before we make the argument (he's all the way down at #39), Cam Smith is #7 so it's not all because of LIV though certainly that's part of it. Byrson is ranked higher (considerably higher, at that at #28). Ya ya ya, rankings are flawed blah blah blah. Not sure how else you want to make the case though. When push comes to shove, can the Euro's win? Of fucking course they can, but it would be a major disappointment if they did.
  7. What are you talking about? Euros are top heavy (5 deep maybe - Rory, Rahm, hovland, Fitz, Hatton off the top of my head... Maybe Fleetwood putter depending), but after that the fall off is tremendous compared to the US side. Even with Fitz, Hatton, and Fleetwood, there isn't anyone in the top 10 of the US that I don't think wouldn't win that match. This is our best shot at winning over there in a very long time. Not winning would be a monumental disappointment regardless of it being on European soil. We 100% don't need koepka who has played a whole 4 real tournaments and is coming off a stretch of golf so bad he ran away and took a payday. There is plenty of talent on this US team.
  8. You think we can't "compete" without the cancer of Koepka? Koepka's defection and general dickheadedness aside, the US team is stacked top to bottom with or without him. Keep the potential cultural issue on the sidelines.
  9. Also LOL at Koepka not being an auto qualifier anymore. Please don't pick him, Zach. That dude can get fucked.
  10. I don't agree - never seen anything to suggest that and more so, they play a lot together up at Dallas National. Check out the NLU interview they did of both of them. I didn't notice any animosity.
  11. He's about as much of a lock for the Ryder Cup team as there is outside the top 6. I wouldn't sweat that. His putting is just fractionally off, as it usually is these days. Tee to green he's doing fine compared to the field per SG.

    USMNT 2023

Can always count on a geography lesson from @Napoleon
  13. Some of the models are starting to show something very significant developing south of Cancun mid to late next week. Typically, this time of the year, those are TX/LA bound storms. We'll see, but the GoM is a powder keg right now.
  14. Other than the logo down the thigh, I like the look. Flag is a bit too big for the hat but nit picking now.
  15. Don't forget the newest item on the menu - "have trees fall on your roof for 72 hours straight". Selling like hotcakes.
  16. NHC thinks it's something worth monitoring as well:
  17. The depth of knowledge this site of morons and dipshits possesses truly amazes me.
  18. I thought they had to play a certain number of Euro events to qualify and they are banned from playing those so they can't pick any LIV guys. Do I have that wrong?
  19. Crowd source this fucker.
  20. He's one shot off the lead. What's the confusion?
  21. This is Jordan ball. Enjoy the ride or go find the Rory-go-round.
  22. Looks awesome but also lacking 50 sponsor logos to muck it up.

Better than relegated Leeds. That's my best attempt at optimism.
