  1. All kind of season 1 rewatching research going on in this thread.
  2. Was also Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast animated Disney film 1991.
  3. My definition of a refrigerator vegtable drawer: A place to refrigerate your vegetables prior to eating them in a few days or so. My wife's definition of a refrigerator vegtable drawer: A place to refrigerate your vegetables for weeks on end until they go bad and rot all over the other vegetables which have not yet gone bad unless my husband cooks or eats them before then. Also a place that my husband cleans out because I think it's too gross. On of my wife's favorite things to do is go to the farmer's market....to buy buy vegetables....face palm.
  4. Well, the good news is that nobody is talking about the Cowboys and their poor playoff showing. Well played, Jerry.
  5. Is that enough time for her to get ready?
  6. Maybe no longer calling it a TV timeout for presentation purposes.
  7. The moon may only be Gibbous, but it is a swirling Gibbous, which could come into play today.
  8. Spoiler that shit. Some of us are not up on our movie clichés and ham fisted plot devices.
  9. A friend of mine pitched a movie idea like this bit it was called "Break-jitsu"
  10. Life was tough for us out on the mean streets of Weslake Hills/Rollingwood.
  11. That's how I role, but my bike is an all road and I switch out wheels for gravel and light trail on occasion. It's nice to use the flats.
  12. FYI the Vasgtu Bunyan song is also the song playing during the Dadario tit scene in True Detective Season 1 Eposode 2.
  13. Possibly. Who knows, the Texans or Lions could do something like the Bengals did a couple of years ago, the Bills could write a huge redemption story, Chiefs could become a legit dynasty, Lamar gets over the hump, or Bucs make a run. Anything other than Green Bay making a deep run will tsunami the Cowboys and their same as it ever was performance.
  14. Yes. I too was disturbed by the lack of correct solstice math.
  15. Mich St. has some basketball skins and 2 MNCs in football since the TV was invented. Not sure about that one Pimp.
  16. .. if you lived in Reno.
  17. With too many commercials?
  18. That was Atizona Cardinals defense for the Boys. Ooof.
  19. I think Munch being a supernatural sin eater from the middle ages qualifies for season 5. Also, I am assuming Jr is now blind?
  20. Get a good cheap bike off of FB marketplace or Craigslist in the 500 to 1000 range. Ride for six months to see if it sticks. If you love it then you will have a benchmark for new purchase. Most of us don't ride well enough to warrant even a mid grade road bike. Bikes are pretty simple. We make them complicated.
  21. Malvo also has this mythical demonic quality about him that is pretty obvious with his scripture quoting, temptations, and biblical allusions so he is almost not human and does not belong even in the same category of bad guy.
  22. Just finished season 1 again myself. I rewatched to guage if Malvo is a more despicable bad guy than Sherrif Roy. Probably a discussion worth having once season 5 finishes and we have body counts and womens beaten numbers in. My preliminary feeling is that the sherrif is worse: serial woman abuser and kills for no reason sometimes. Malvo is an opportunist kind of does extra assholish things for no reason just to make trouble.
  23. Not a Texans fan, but pretty amazing result this season, made even more amazing that it was done while losing to the Jets and Panthers. Could have easily been a 12 win team with #2 seed. Nfl gonna nfl.
  24. Just turned 57 yesterday and have been hitting the scales at 205+, mostly plus for the last couple of months. I weighed 193 in early July and then my dad died an threw me off for a bit and I shot up to present weight. I would like to get down into the upper 170s like you (5'-11") .tell me what you do because my usual stuff is not working, in fact, I seem to be struggling not to gain weight despite the fact that I cycle 110 miles a week and do that pretty hard. For weights I need to stick to a home dumbell routine due to jacked up shoulders. I got the no booze thing but it just doesn't seem to have the impact (quitting) that it once did. I will reveal more as suggestions come in, but I am super frustrated.
