  1. At least we get some commercial breaks.
  2. They just need to run clock here like in 77-0.
  3. 1/4 of the way through this shit fest. Only 2.5 hours to go.
  4. Big 12 would still be reviewing the Wash pic.
  5. Since Sark got here, his teams have flashed brilliance at times only to suffer a let down in game or in the next game. I always felt that the talent was being maximized but sometimes just didn't mesh with play calling or system or just didn't have the depth to sustain consistent play. However, all the while there was improvement from season to season, but there was a lot meat left on the bones in terms of wins. I felt 2021 could have been a 7 or 8 win team, 2022 a 10 win team and this year a 12 win team all prior to post season. This team is there. It is playoff caliber and that is what we should expect.
  6. Not a popular opinion, but that is my favorite crew. Individually not as good as Johnson/Klatt but work better together. McDonough doesn't really like Texas but I like his delivery.
  7. The last decade notwithstanding, Texas had opportunity after opportunity back in the Mac Brown hey days to not only pick up at least 3 or 4 more conference titles, but also deny OUsux a number of them as well at the same time, but could never quite close the deal (usually against lesser opponents)unless we had an MNC caliber team. It was infuriating. 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2013, 2018 were all within reach and we even beat ou in 2006, 2008, 2013, and 2018. Ou did their share of bed shitting but not like Texas. Let's get this one.
  8. Doesn't matter. They have the "triangle of dominance"
  9. Ok. I'm gonna need to see your food permits and union cards.
  10. Never quit never quitting you rascally red raiders. Never let their uniform guy and Mrs. Sarkisian meet, might something like this:
  11. ..and except for the feels, a win might be meaningless.
  12. Well even if they consider it, that doesn't mean that they are going apply the same weight evenly or go on some kind of mathematical order. The use of the word "must" doesn’t really mean anything when the margins are so close.
  13. I have discussed this very point with an aggy friend of mine. I don't think Sherman would have had the same 1st year success as Sumlin, due to the unfamiliarity in the SEC with that offense Sumlin was running but they still would have been very good. Longer term, Sherman's quality line recruiting and development would have paid dividends. Sherman had some bad years at the beginning due to the craziness of the big 12 offenses and lack of existing talent but had them on the right track. As usual, aggy failed to fully take advantage of the conference move and a "down" Texas program.
  14. ...with result/scenarios presented on a "sheet" that "spread" out the combinations - a "spread sheet", if you will. This type of presentation would excel and be as easy as 123.
  15. Well, they have a 50/50 chance of getting it right.
  16. I got a drunken text from an aggy friend last night. He said it was OSU coach Diane? Not sure which OSU and never heard of this name. He might have meant Ohio St. Coach Ryan Day which is so delusional it would make sense.
  17. From southeast Austin at my office between Calahan's general store and the porno shop/church. TEXAS!!!!!!
  18. Dark was awesome, but you better not take a break between episodes or even seasons. Too much material to remember and extra studying on paradoxes, theorems, etc too. Thumbs up for Bodies too. Shorter and easier than Dark.
  19. Same would be true if we were 1-9, 2-8, 8-2 etc. Surly gonna surly.
  20. A special Texum aggy 10 gallon yarmulke.
  21. Pro tip: When attending an aggy wedding, always scout the reception hall. If there is an aggy themed grooms cake, you know what you will be in for, so start hitting that open bar just a little harder than usual. Your date will understand later.
  22. There is a struggle to determine what power set things in motion in this universe. Religion over time has come up with inadequate explanations that always need updating to jive with the available science. Worship is a useless excercise since an all powerful creator of the universe would hardly require any fealty and praise. However, I do believe that we humans have more going on than meets the eye. Not unlike certain bodily processes that simply occur without our knowledge, I believe the human spirit for lack of a better word, contains the power to alter outcomes and heal others as well as oneself. Perhaps it is some lost evolutionary trait or art, it could be some spiritual power endowed by a creator, alien tech, or even "the force" (tm) Prayer may be a means of accessing this insofar as it allows one to truly know themselves and tap into it in probably the most inefficient and ham fisted way.
  23. ...and he doesn't have to have as many carries assuming other backs can stay healthy.
  24. Campus architecture and steak-umm talk not going away.
  25. I also enjoyed my Copland rewatch...on Netflix now.
