  1. A favorite snack of mine growing up was toasted english muffins, peanut butter and jelly. I preferred strawberry. And a cold glass of milk.
  2. Those tortillas look like they came from Randall's ATX doesn't have better fajita options than Chuy's? Sad
  3. https://www.delilahla.com/menus/ Decent menu. Knuckle sandwiches must be "off the menu"

Don't go Stubhub. There are sites where fans sell tix for face (cashortrade.org) and social media groups where you'll be able to find the tix you need. Closer to show dates, they'll pop up, as folks realize they can't use the tickets they bought 4 months prior.
  5. $25-50K for a cover band sounds like a fucking ripoff. Looking at various lists, you could potentially get some really solid touring bands for that. What kind of music? What is the prior/other event they'd be playing after?
  6. I just pray to God he doesn't go to the Texans. And I'm a Texans "fan" by default.
  7. What a special kid. Hook 'em 5! Will enjoy following his career.
  8. Y'all mfr's fixed this shit real good like.
  9. I had never paid attention to volleyball, hs/college girlfriends didn't play, no daughters, etc.. My wife had a work thing at a Rice game earlier this year, so we went. I think Rice was ranked 15 or so at the time. It was fucking awesome and exciting These 2 teams are off the charts better than Rice/Charlotte I;m a fan
  10. I'm sure it's covered somewhere so SIAP, but is there a way to watch this and Duncanville/NS on line somewhere? I don't have Bally's I watched Westlake/North Shore via YouTube that was essentially a guy in the stands with a phone. and a lady screaming "Oh my god" after every play. I'd prefer not to put myself through that again if possible.

Good news for you, they still play all the stuff from 20 years ago.
  12. T minus 6 days till we'll be there visiting my in-laws. Just moved into a new apartment this weekend, so that will be weird. Although it's right across the street from their old one lol Really looking forward to getting up there for Christmas again, it's been a few years.

Austin Panic on sale this morning. 6 nights, with days off in between. As an "old" I appreciate that they know their audience. lol Going first weekend.
  14. Grew up with pb and celery too. Still do it when we have celery around. If you're looking for a fancy af like $9 jar of peanut butter, try Fix & Fogg. Got the "everything" butter once which is a crunchy type nut butter loaded with seeds. Fix & Fogg's nut and seed spread combines hemp, chia, sesame, sunflower, flax, and pumpkin seeds with peanuts and almonds for the ultimate butter with 8g of protein per serving.
  15. Watched Bullet Train over the weekend. Like others said...it was solid action/comedy. As another poster mentioned Michael Shannon was a waste. Started all my Christmas re-run movies last night with Elf.
  16. Just curious if anyone has any insight on Beard and his ex-wife (mother of kids)? Why did they divorce? Was it amicable? Contentious? Any history of abuse? Does this chick just bring out the crazy? I guess being engaged for 3 years, neither are sure of each other, lol
  17. Was able to squeak in the playoffs with a 6-8 record. 3 teams tie at 6-8, most points advanced. Weird year.... Scored 2nd most points in the league (trailed leader by 3.92) Averaged 131.4 points a game and it was only good for a 6-8 record.
  18. What a great show/ending. Totally unexpected with Tanya shooting rampage. Also, that was Alessio, the "pimp" working at a hotel at the end when Mia/Lucia were walking away, right?
  19. Depends on the circumstances imo. Boyfriend being a creep to daughter at 2 in the morning? Yeah, you're gonna get dealt with.
  20. Another neighbor here! Wife and I finally got around to trying Uchi on Friday. We were both afraid it wasn't going to live up to the hype. It exceeded our expectations. Almost everything was sensational...neither of us really cared for the wagyu tartar though Omakase was the right call. Got a selection of chef choices, both raw and cooked (mostly raw)
