  1. Ground venison with 5% beef fat, peppers, squash, and onions from the garden.
  2. Tomatoes coming in to form now. First BLT of the season.
  3. My yom is 68 which are the dopest plates in Texas history. Black Hemisphere.
  4. How you digging the XL? Couple out of the Koda 16. First got a little too aggressive with the moz, but underneath had a fresh pizza sauce built on cherry and early girls from the garden. Next level fresh sauce.
  5. You have to book around DFW during April, May, June.
  6. "The science has not changed" may be one of the most misleading and totally nonsensical statements made by someone that is trying to influence public health regarding to covid boosters. Just total garbage rhetoric that contributes nothing to the public health debate.
  7. Yeah, that last draft was horrible, unethical, and a total shit show. We should probably not do that again.

That was kinda something. Just need the finish.
  9. Well the question was about sb's medical opinion regarding the benefit of a particular vaccine administered to specific subgroups of low risk individuals, not vaccinations generally. Ninety five percent of docs take vaccinations, but only a small fraction take RSV vaccination, for example. Cause the benefit is to certain subgroups of at risk individuals. Here is a poll of healthcare providers from 2024 re: COVID boosting: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0264410X24004420#s0030 Nearly 20% of hcps didn't want to boost themselves, and ~1/3 of hcps with children were unsure or hesitant about vaxxing their children at all, must less putting them on the booster treadmill.
  10. Thread reads like an American Anonymous support group. Zoom out for some perspective y'all. The American experience spans centuries at this point, but is really fucking young in the grand scheme of things. We are infants figuring out a political system that in the end just might not work out.
  11. It's a pretty consistent finding in the epidemiology.
  12. Public health discourse ca. 2025 yall. Tweets and twats and politically brain damaged discourse for everyone.
  13. What is your medical opinion on booster shots for healthy children and healthy pregnant women?
  14. Cherry tomatoes are coming in pretty fast now. Made a little baked feta situation for a lunch snack. Tomatoes, onions, red pepper, oregano, olive oil.
  15. Three hundred as a single gift at end of the year is dumb. We kick in in 25-50 dollar increments a few times a years directly for gifts for our elementary school aged kid's teachers. A few hundred to the elementary PTO, and a few hundred more to the district education foundation stuff. The latter through their gala situations. After elementary shit gets pretty opaque in terms of tracking the money directly to the benefit of the teachers, and with sports involvement dollars start to flow to the booster clubs.
  16. It's kind of a wild world where people are advocating boosting healthy 6 month olds and the people that think that maybe we need some hard clinical endpoint data to support that are somehow anti-science. Just bizarro tribalism.
  17. First few responses are a pretty good encapsulation of how broken brained our politics has become.
  18. Roy doesn't like that post, but how is hormone sensitivity established. And how does that timeline work? These are very simple things.
  19. Here is a hot take, but fits the data. Biden's prostate cancer was diagnosed a while back. He got on ADT at some point ca. 2022. The ADT was associated with the obvious and manifest cognitive decline. How else do you come out and say that it is hormone sensitive on this timeline? It's really the only way that the pieces fit together.
