  1. Apparently Melvin Gordon isn't the only one having difficulty finding a suitor for his steep asking price.
  2. Denver is getting a good one in what amounted to a salary dump. They acquired a 30 year old 5 time pro bowler, 1 time all-pro for a 7th rounder.
  3. https://www.pff.com/news/pro-pff-ranks-the-top-10-edge-defenders-ahead-of-the-2019-nfl-season Clowney wasn't bad by any means prior to the 2019 season. I wouldn't place him among the elite pass rushers, but he was effective. The one stat that stood out was : That's literally a TFL every other tackle against the run.
  4. Damn! Stafford will go down as the highest paid QB to never win a playoff game.
  5. Interesting pairing. His physical ability is there, his struggles in recent years have been largely mental. Marcus could throw beautiful deep balls, but he looked for the check downs far too often or scrambled out of the pocket at the slightest hint of pressure after his right fibula injury following the 2016 season. There were times he could drop a perfect dime like this :
  6. Because Rudy Gobert was mocking the situation touching microphones and recorders acting as if he would never contract the virus.
  7. They had to do something to fix their toilet paper offensive line. They better hope they end up with the 2016 All-pro version or 2019 version and not the 2017 or 2018 version that led to his 5th year option being declined before the beginning of the 2019 season. It'll be glorious watching Baker fail with that stacked offense.
  8. Johnson signed a 3 year extension during the 2018 season, he's under contract until 2022. The cap hit is less punishing in 2021, he would only account for 3 million in dead cap. If the Texans released him this season he'd account for $16 million in dead cap.
  9. It's a shame that this ass clown is associated with the University of Texas. I laughed my ass off when Boyd threatened to beat his ass, I face palmed when he talked about Texas players being paid during the 2009 season to drum up attention to his social media and get his name out there.
  10. He'd account for over $16 million in dead cap if the Texans cut him this season saving only $2 million dollars.
  11. Cleveland being Cleveland. That Tannehill contract continues to look like a bargain : http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001106332/article/vikings-kirk-cousins-agree-to-2year-66m-extension
  12. This will go down as one of the most one sided trades of all time. The NFL has become a passing driven league, why would you trade away one of the most dominant receivers who shined despite a carousel of trash throwing him the ball early in his career for a RB with a bloated contract who hasn't had any kind of meaningful impact since 2016?
  13. That contract is below market value. Could he end up the next Nick Foles? Yes. Could he have a repeat of last season and continue to grow in a system he flourished in? The answer is also yes. The cap is increasing $10 million for 2020, that was announced today. Anthony Castonzo becomes the 2nd highest paid LT resigning with the Colts for 2 years at $33 million. The Jags are desperate to escape their cap hell. Campbell can still ball the fuck out, Baltimore got a steal.
  14. Josh Gordon would like to have a word with you.
  15. Nu Metal is still hanging around.
  16. I would not be shocked if Tom Brady signed with the Titans or Chargers, both teams have more assets on offense than New England had to offer last season. Both teams have the money to burn and have assets on offense that would appeal to him. It's looking more and more like it could happen. For the first time in his career Brady appears primed to seriously explore his options.
  17. The tampering period begins Monday the 16th and of course the biggest story of them all is Tom Brady's future. is he trolling the fuck out of everyone or will he seriously consider his options for the first time in his career? https://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space/ Miami, Indy, Buffalo and Tampa have $$$ to burn.
  18. We're stuck with Shaka another year.
  19. I wonder if they'll resume the season in April when the hysteria dies down? I just find it ironic that Rudy Gobert was the first NBA player to contract the virus, I hope he stockpiled up on shit paper.
  20. https://sports.yahoo.com/sources-de-mar-de-rozan-intends-to-decline-277-m-option-if-he-cant-agree-to-extension-with-spurs-004545646.html This is the best news I've heard pertaining to the Spurs in an eternity.
  21. You must be completely oblivious. Tech lost the majority of their production from last season, 7 players are gone. They have 7 Freshman on their roster, several grad transfers a sophomore and junior. Clearly Beard is trash if he's unable to replicate last season's success with the roster he's working with this season. Beard is tasked with one of the toughest coaching jobs this season, for Tech to make the tourney is an accomplishment of it's own.
