  1. Not any sillier than worrying about other people who make that choice. Not your choice? Cool.
  2. Oh I'm sure he's doing a fine job relatively speaking but at the same time it's basketball in the transfer portal era. It's a lot easier to have a first season turnaround in that sport right now than any other college sport ever. Obviously time will tell but I'd bet on him to have on-court success, of course.
  3. I'm not sure the Democrats can take much more bad news.
  4. I'm old and lazy, someone give me the brief update on this situation. All I see is Ole Miss losing every time I see a score against a good team and then I see they're #62 in KenPom. He just not get his guys yet or what? As of right now his team is shittier than ours.
  5. I mean I'm not sure I agree with his implication, but how is the fact that Mahomes was productive in his second season a counterargument to the idea that Reid developed him in his rookie season?
  6. What about if it's about how she doesn't look like she'll ever take me to dinner?
  7. That describes all of us, but we smart ones let OU fill that hate bucket all by themselves.
  8. So your theory is that Goredho was talking about you when he said "they" multiple times. Seems like the problem is you're too sensitive, you feel guilty that he was actually describing you, you can't read, or some combination of those.
  9. Who? Where? Quote posts. And I think the Kelce behavior was a bigger deal than jj does simply because he made hard physical contact with his coach. That's over the line. It's not like it only takes a light tap to knock Andy Reid over. He didn't brush up against a lightweight. I don't think it was horrific or anything but it was a bad look.
  10. There has been a triple overtime NFL playoff game before, guys. I hope I'm missing sarcasm here about the game possibly just ending still tied. Dammit my childhood memory failed me. The above is not accurate (well the part about it being silly to think it would just end in a tie was accurate).
  11. Yeah this was definitely the weirdest shit of the night. Chevy needs to release a commercial next week that just says "Chevy. Not founded by Nazis."
  12. Idiotic not to have called timeouts to help your defense on this drive. This is not regulation anymore, there is no concern about needing timeouts to stop the clock from running out later in the game. They made the stop but that was a terrible strategic oversight.
  13. This is the best way to get a sense for how long ago something was. For example, we are as far from Texas A&M's only real national championship in football as that championship was from violence breaking out in the Border War in 1855.
  14. Probably sprained his wrist putting pressure on it there.
  15. They also made sure to refer to POTUS as an officer as a wink and nod to the ballot eligibility cases.
  16. Yes, along with impeachment and conviction it lays out how a President who committed illegal acts in office is to be held accountable in our system. It was all perfectly well understood by everyone and still is by non-MAGAts but was depressingly in need of being affirmed and spelled out because of their idiocy and volume.
  17. It's absolutely horrifying that saying "the President is not a king" would be a split decision at SCOTUS but we know it would. It's beyond depressing that everyone knows it but it's not actively terrifying the entire nation.
  18. In her defense there actually are multiple Liberty Bells and one of them is pretty famous. Maybe she's just confused.
  19. We have one but now I can't think of his name. Military guy. @Homesickhorn, that's it.
  20. Googled it real quick but couldn't find it. Does anyone know when the next observable total eclipse in Texas will be? I found that there will be one in the US in 2044 but only a tiny part of northern Montana. Trying to tell my kids how rare this is.
  21. Perhaps, but defending the Big 12 when it comes to the most horribly conceived and horribly written tiebreaker rules ever is a pretty weak starting point when arguing that it's not about what the conference does they'll always be bashed. Those tiebreakers were horrific and you know it.
  22. But if he can't blame them while absolving himself of any responsibility how can he feel superior to them?
  23. There's not a man who's ever lived who shouldn't introduce himself as a sign of respect when meeting Earl Campbell.
