  1. The "I look like a banker" line from Charlie Sheen is underrated hilarity.
  2. Has it ever occurred to him to wear a tie to work?
  3. Maybe not the best time to remind everyone what happened with that particular head coach and program.
  4. I'll watch a Discovery Channel documentary on lions and shit out in the wild any day. But get the fuck out of here with house cats. They're the assholes of the animal kingdom. And there's a reason so many people are allergic to them. Their dander is made up of little flakes of pure evil.
  5. Mixed feelings today. We landed Tyler Atkinson. We find out Sydney Carton is a cat person.
  6. New Belgium is on the other side of the river as the River Arts District. That area, right on the riverbank, took the brunt of the Asheville flooding. I'm guessing that it's still in full recovery/rebuild mode, but was wondering if you had seen it for yourself.
  7. It really was. Fishes was about the conflict and dysfunction, and was the setup for Carmy's decision to bolt. The wedding episode was about reconciliation, for a lot of the characters. Even when Uncle Lee made his appearance in the kitchen with Carmy, I was expecting him to be a huge prick, but it turned out he had made amends with Mikey and was a pretty good guy for the family.
  8. What was your life like when you used to have human friends?
  9. Jesus H. Christ, are you fucking kidding me?
  10. He's only doing it because Putin has been fucking with him and hurting his chances at the Nobel Peace Prize.
  11. Thirded on Rhoback. I have two Texas polos, and a few other of varying designs. Great quality and fit. Tip: I think they run a little big, so if you typically wear a large, you might want to try on a medium.
  12. @BearSchlong, that's one fucking great story. Thanks for sharing.
  13. Really surprised that imdb has How to Make an American Quilt at only 47.
  14. I'm one of the biggest U2 fanboys you'll meet, and I get it, at least the past 10 years or so. They've lost their fastball, yet still seem to insist upon themselves, and whether you like it or not, and no matter how genuine he is, Bono is still fucking everywhere. But still, when they were in their prime -- and U2's prime lasted a hell of a lot longer than a lot others over the course of music history -- they were the greatest rock band on the planet. I kill you.
  15. Tell us more. We went last August and swore to return. How is the town doing? I suspect the River Arts District still has a ways to go.
  16. I'd go with Maliki. He cried when Rancor was killed, indicating some level of emotional tenderness. There's a chance he would be gentle.
  17. But they didn't vote to shut down their plant!!!
  18. It's because the recent attention that Tech has been getting is momentarily distracting him from his envious obsession with Texas.
  19. I was at La Cantera a few weekends ago for a wedding, and I hadn't been since about 2007 or so. I don't remember it being that bad. The rooms were fine and the space and location are still very nice. But holy shit the food all over that place was so low quality, and the service staff seemed clueless at the notion of above-average hospitality. When did that place go down the shitter?
