  1. Or the #8 city in the US for new incoming Millennials sunny Killeen.
  2. Color me shocked... How it started: How its going:
  3. Taos snow should hang tight until the next round of snow comes along (assuming it doesn't get blown away...)
  4. Man that's a great article by USA Today and it explains it perfectly although he should have just said "Texas A&M shows it's exactly who we thought it was and not Texas" It is a boring, lame hire. As others have said, averaged 8 wins a year... 8-8 in conference... a record mostly built on wins against piss poor teams. Year 1: 9-4 Year 2: 7-5 and 4-4 in conference including a loss to Virginia (!?) He's perfect.
  5. The reaction on Facebook has been exceedingly muted. Only saw one aggy friend post about and he said it was a solid hire. If they loved the hired, they would all be crowing about it and erecting a statue by the giant ring monument. Nope. General reaction seems to be
  6. Never discount generational mob money
  7. Some of y'all want a bunch of old cheerleaders yelling sis-boom-bah with big cardboard cones. F that. I like the energy, even if a bit cheesy over gram gram's preferred atmosphere...
  8. I just had a cup of Turkish coffee and the coffee grounds told me that the Farmer's Almanac is full of it.
  9. Went for cocktails after dinner at Intero and they were great. Have not eaten though. As for Yamas, friend posted pictures and it looked really cool so I checked out their menu online and Looooooool no way I'm paying those prices for Mediterranean food
  10. I have to plan with the family in mind... that leaves those other trips out of the question. For me, yeah... no doubt. Definitely know the Mahre brothers...
  11. Acquaintance/friend posted a picture he took yesterday with Abbott... was disappointed when I noticed he wasn't flipping him off in the picture.
  12. I swear man... prices in the US kill me. Montgenevre in France (where we were based earlier in the year). six 2 1/2 hour private lessons over 6 days = 990 Euro or currently $1,084.00. French instruction, in my opinion, is some of the best in Europe. Really strong instruction. Meanwhile Crested Butte (and I'm not picking on CB since this is pretty typical and actually cheaper than several places) is $615 for one 3 hour lesson. Shoot... I looked up Breckenridge and L O L !!!!!
  13. Description of Willy's Wide. Taos hike should be easier... https://www.skishaggys.com/blogs/news/the-east-wall-trifecta-jake-miller
  14. That's excellent thank you. Those all look great so conditions permitting I'll check them out. I've done the bootpack hike on Willie's Wide at A-Basin just shy of 11k and I think that's steeper so this one looks reasonable
  15. I've heard those chutes on that side of the hike are pretty straightforward versus some of the insanity on the other ridge
  16. Some of the mountains there look very cool and I've thought about it but I've heard stories of that legendary cold. Wasn't it last year when they mind-bendingly cold weather?
