  1. Well..."personal gain" being getting cool points from Kid Rock so...worth it?
  2. I am glad the show is back - perfect summer enjoyable viewing and I was sufficiently whelmed with both episodes.
  3. They didn’t lose Hill - they just ran out of recruiting time
  4. That’s good to know…and especially as to a bigger sit down restaurant as the line at their San Cap location looked Texas sized as well
  5. I was impressed with Laguna Beach’s beers when I visited their taproom in February
  6. I heard they eat babies in the down deep
  7. Holy fucking shit. I finally got around to watching Martyrs (the original French 2008 version and not the apparently lame US remake). Completely fucked up but also a well crafted (but, again, completely fucked up) story.
  8. Been a listener of the podcast since the beginning. Already watched 5 episodes and think it’s great and fun to watch them continue with the nut kicking throughout their day. I thought it was really interesting that they covered/left in the negative reaction they got to shows where the audience was disappointed with their choice of live guest.
  9. I was sufficiently whelmed with the ending. In early season 1 my wife and I were saying there was no way he could be redeemed where he could have a happy ending. I thought the twist outcome was a nice touch. I appreciate that we are getting shows that aren’t just “comedies” or “dramas” and that a show can morph from primarily more a comedy with moments of drama/shock in it to (as the stakes are upped) a drama with moments of comedy peppered in. I hope Hader does more “not everyone’s cup of tea” projects (and endings) like this.
  10. “But Jimmy has fancy plans…and pants to match”
  11. They don’t put bourbon in it or nothin?
  12. He does a weekly podcast with Roger Avary called Video Archives where they talk about different movies they had at that video store they both worked at. In the latest episode, they are discussing the filmography of Rick Dalton like they were all real movies that they had seen and have various trivia tidbits and stories about each. THAT is some dedication to your bit.
  13. Love this annual thread as it signals that my months long nightmare of no CFB will soon be over

    RIP Tina Turner

Her live version of I've Been Loving You Too Long = FIRE!
  15. Comparing timeslots, even Norm and Donny (lowest rated of the Ticket shows) are absolutely trouncing Rhyner.
