  1. Peterson did experimental rapid benzodiazepine detox in some Russian hospital, where apparently a penis pump was strapped to his junk. Idk exactly. My only knowledge of klonopin is from Jason Isbell lyrics.
  2. Welp: F22: Balloon, UFO x2
  3. From 2011: https://www.city-journal.org/html/1-million-dead-30-seconds-13396.html
  4. This is a reminder then neither SI nor Newsweek truly exist anymore.
  5. I helped an old lady down the street clear her driveway and make it so the postman can deliver mail. I figure I'm good on karma for the next 10 to 15 years.
  6. No "emerged, it's a dry run for an EMP attack!" Surly, I'm disappointed.
  7. And yo Austinz get your airtraffic controllers straight https://www.aviacionline.com/2023/02/two-plane-near-collision-averted-at-austin-bergstrom-airport-what-we-know/
  8. Fwiw I love my corded reciprocating saw with a pruning blade. I use it all the time at the ranch (home of the hole) and it works great for fallen branches. I noticed Cedar Park Home Depot was "out" of blades up in the saw blade section, but in the front of the store they had a ton of 2-packs (9" and 12").maybe for spring?
  9. He can't be in Austin, because he needs working elevators. That's not a slam or a joke, just a practical observation.
  10. It's not clear to me if the $6500/yr rollover has to be limited to the kiddos earnings or what. More clarity should emerge soon. If it is limited to earnings, it's not a huge help (rich people have been putting up to annual limit in a roth under their kids name since their first job at the country club since roths began).
  11. This was my chinquapin oak. I loved it.
  12. I do Ohio's 529. It's just vanguard. And fwiw, the new tax changes allow for 529 to $35k rollover into your kiddos Roth. Needs to be a 15 year old account. Just think of what $35k could be worth after 45 years. 6x is very reasonable.
  13. Trees out here (Spicewood & 183) are peeled like bananas. Can't imagine the apocalypse it would have been if '21 hadn't already decimated the ash and thinned out the rest.
  14. A few years ago (10?) I was taking the 183 South flyover from 45 after midnight, whilst rocking out (Fun "All Alone") when my glasses flew off my head into the backseat. Things seemed dire but I was able to make a peep with myself fingers on my left hand, slow down, and drive with one near-sighted eye until I could pull over. They never made a second album.
  15. The Decker Lake thing is a 20 car pileup. They aren't sure if the 2 who were thrown off the flyover are pedestrians or passengers, but it seems like they at least know where they are. Over on Ben White they've got a 10 car pile up with a dead pedestrian.
  16. They shut down 183A. Over on 130 (i think near Decker Lake?) they think two people were ejected off a flyover.
  17. Waaaay ahead of you
  18. Anyone else having the county trying to fuck them on a wildlife ag plan? Not sure why a plan that was fine for a decade is suddenly no good. They now want >300ac for white tail management. I sort of get it, but if nobody <300 gives a damn about the deer, it's going to screw hunting for lots and lots of folks.
  19. Have a a pretty basic Canyon (SLE, v6, tow package). Would totally get a Maverick or whatever future GM/Chevy or Toyota model in thay nich, provided that (a) one was actually available, (b) I'm reasonably convinced that an Escape platform based trucj has 80% of the long term reliability of a ladder frame pickup with an excessively heavy duty transmission & engine. In my experience non-truck unibody SUVs just don't last like a real truck.
  20. First set is in! Hanging bolts set. Lagged two short sides.
  21. My first generic rounds. Otherwise have eagles and junk. These are... fine? I think I'd prefer a mint mark. I like eagle more, but the current mark up is too painful. Maybe when I have some deep stacks I'll trade for weirder stuff.
