  1. i'm still sort of amazed at changing a quoted poster's text. what the actual fuck is that about? also, yall, slorch isnt trolling. this is just peak slorch. it's very similar to peak rocko. it's a weird sort of thing.
  2. uh, where are your balls? my wife hates dumb ladies. maybe don't marry a dumb lady.
  3. his covid stance has been...well...attractive to a certain demographic. also, i don't know how anyone looks at that dude and takes him seriously. he is a vacuous waste of space. i don't care about his ivy league bona fides. i wouldn't hire him to take out my garbage.
  4. (yeah, yeah, i know this picture is from cuba, but it's our friend in miami)
  5. i disagree. it's not morons. it's a weird sort of brainwashing that's occurred. and it only occurred to me when i sort of sleepily half-watched some stupid show my wife watched yesterday about warren jeffs. that's what's happened here, writ large. this dude is still leading his cult from prison. they still believe in his bullshit. there's some weird crossed wire in our brain that allows us to follow the stupidest bullshit, and when people access that wire, you'll do anything to tell the rest of the world to fuck off. which, i admit is my default, but for me, it is far more an individualist fuck off than a group joiner fuck off, but it's there, and i recognize it. i don't think the people are stupid. they aren't morons. they are ready for outside influence, maybe, but not morons. so many people influenced by trump were successful. normal folks, outside of that support. there's something there in the brain that i can't figure. but it's the same with covid. it's a middle finger thing.
  6. imagine defending dave portnoy. the guy cannot even smile without stretching his skin suit to the extreme. that's not a smile of a guy enjoying life. that's a sneer of someone who thinks they got the world by the balls, but also hates himself and everyone around him because he is a vortex of self-loathing. success doesn't mean someone is successful.
  7. i think if ruth had asked him nicely, he would've done it. he was a legal asshole, and a kind of at large asshole, but i don't think he was a personal asshole to people he respected. granted, gorsuch probably has no respect for anyone else on the court, but that's kind of my point.
  8. yeah, i know, but my point is that scalia would've worn the fucking mask. but also, as much as i take issue with a ton of his decisions, he was a man of honor. so if he didn't really want to wear the mask, his choice would've been "go remote or wear the mask," not "make the medically at risk person go remote or wear the mask."
  9. so i recently rewatched goodfellas, and i think the same thing is playing out in the republican party. they are going to try and eat their own. right now, trump runs the ship, but there is grumbling. but more than that, there is ambition. and the ambition is going to eat itself up. we've seen this happen with the democratic party in the past, but not to this criminal degree. i mean, how many fucking crooks are there in the republican party? desantis v trump. who wins? we all do.
  10. scalia would've worn the fucking mask, because he damn well wouldn't have gone remote. imagine being such an asshole that you won't make an accommodation for one of your 8 colleagues. and then imagine that scalia wouldn't have been such an asshole as you.
  11. great minds...
  12. the express is a tabloid muckraking outfit. why not do a little fact checking right to the source: https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-fertility-treatment-for-unvaccinated-patients/ Read the whole letter. then ask yourself how that compares to the shit article you linked from a right wing tabloid rag. is any of that source information from the instigator of the deferral anywhere at all in that shitass article you linked? oh, it isn't. maybe you should wonder why. but everyone knows you won't.
  13. it's the fucking express
  14. also, at some point, when discussion of a news situation expires, and the follow up discussion takes place, yall are going to have to get used to getting threads moved to cloak room, exactly for the reason right above.
  15. enjoy the three day break
  16. running dak there was stupid, but the ref moving that ball around 2 - 3 times is also pretty inexcusable. The fuck was he doing except ensuring the clock expired? He just touches it and backs off, they have 1 - 2 seconds for a shot to the endzone. Why was he moving it around like that?
  17. imagine spending any amount of time defending this meathead bro. at some point you have to ask yourself "why am i spending all this time defending joe fucking rogan," right?
  18. i only watched part of the game i said i would not watch because the wife loves football. i stand by my assertion that we shouldn't see conference members playing for the national championship. we already saw this game. bama killed them. now bama was down two players. georgia killed them. yawn. it's a tie as far as i'm concerned.
  19. lol bama. enjoy your sec championship. you sowed the whirlwind. reap it you fucks.
  20. i dunno. they moved matt to 101x with cj to keep him on ice. matt knew then that dale was done, and that's why he was ducking him. who knows who else knew? my point about matt was that he knew. and that's fine. he's got a family to take care of, just like the rest of us, and none of us want to submarine our jobs. it's no skin off my back. dale had become a bit too raw, and he clearly butted heads with ownership, both over content and politically, which has something to do with content, in the end. but i liked coyote, and i hate that they 86ed that show. i listened daily. it was something cool and different, though i got tired of the music being played. i have no idea why, in this day and age of streaming music, the local station with local hosts feels the need to play fucking music during the local content. we aren't tuning in for the fucking classic rock, my dudes. i listened briefly this morning. they must not be doing podcasts yet, or maybe it's just not up yet, but what i heard was alright. felt like a crowded room after it was just bob and chuy with a volunteer intern. it's just a bit of an end of an era. dale was a pain in the ass, but he was our pain in the ass. his advocacy for mental health will be missed.
  21. i didn't get the idea of an old neo or whatever else was happening in the reflections. like if neo if an old guy, why isn't he an old guy outside of the matrix? either it's an important detail or it's not
  22. um, what? you are such a fucking joke of a poster. when people roll their eyes at you, it's a pretty clear indication that maybe you haven't thought things through. but it's also an indication of disagreement, and you know what? disagreeing about political opinions is basically the fucking foundation of this country. when you bitch about people being intolerant of your opinions, you are basically being a child about it. argue your opinions. complaining about people disagreeing? i mean, are you 7 years old? this is why i laugh when people talk about the cloak room as a cabal or however you want to try to characterize it. i'm sorry yall cannot successfully argue your opinions. this isn't an echo chamber any more than the old shaggybevo cr was a conservative echo chamber. good rhetoric with good opinions - that works. when you can't argue successfully, you should not blame the person with whom you argue. it's on you, dude.
