  1. uh yeah ok, what is this -- Q stuff? The only thing you got right is that churches (and not just some of them) are filled with abusers. Some are true pedos, others are just twisted opportunists who exploit whomever comes their way.
  2. what's the point of telling someone to drop their gun if the cops are going to shoot right then regardless?
  3. Wasn't blaming her for his abusive behavior. An entirely separate matter is that he's always been a batshit narcissist from what I could see, and I'm sure that would have shown itself after baby 1 at the very least to anyone in a relationship with him. Dude doesn't need to be a parent.
  4. Same deal as Earl Thomas. Sad and headed for disaster, likely due to CTE.
  5. It keeps occurring to me how mentally challenged Kim K must be to have voluntarily created four kids with this broken-brained shitheel.
  6. Makes sense that when a dude is willing to off someone and/or himself, letting him slide with a low bond and a protective order is the way to go. I wasn't aware that municipal judges set bond without the DA office's input. That's kind of fucked.
  7. I don't think there's a legislative means to tone down the rhetoric other than to build anti-discrimination protection and allow the culture to catch up. And there's no "both sides" to the hate problem. The right is very proactive in having operatives come up with culture war issues to spread, starting with wing nut groups presenting to Republican governors' associations, councils, AG's, and such that then promulgate model legislation to spread the latest outrage across the country. All the anti-trans bills and the Chris Rufo CRT crap are obvious examples. Astroturfing is not a left-wing thing. And then the right-wing Murdoch and radio universe spreads the issues to the masses so the rubes see the need for all the negative legislation. I don't believe there's an equivalent level of organization on the left, in terms of coming up with the next new champion "issue.' The left is reactive by nature -- the whole concept of Antifa exemplifies that -- because they're not the ones on the attack against marginalized groups. It's a hell of a lot easier to destroy and demonize than to solve actual problems and advance freedom without exclusion.
  8. that guy is fucked up out of his mind. The shooter can DIAF but both parents appear to be absolute psychopaths.
  9. This is all such a primitive guy thing too. Women who aren't MAGA or otherwise brainwashed are on the sidelines baffled about the obsessive focus on and fetishization of these weapons. It's just so damned juvenile. Another instance where more women in leadership would moderate shit.
  10. I was hesitant to click, based on the title. Very wholesome though. Man...... that Mineola case Brisket referenced above. Still a fucking travesty. Lives ruined, and no consequences for all the shenanigans as far as I ever heard.
  11. Theater performers banning other theater performers. I think they're jealous of the competition.
  12. I still can't quite believe this isn't 1984-era Victoria Jackson doing an SNL skit
  13. Maybe just me, but this seems like an odd thing for the coroner to say publicly, especially at this point. Seems unnecessary and just more painful for the families. But, coroners are a different bunch...
  14. True. But I assume its more a reference to the Jerri Blank character?
  15. The second sentence contains two errors.
  16. Is Sark's thinking that pulling QE would hurt his confidence and progression? Because putting him in into infinity when it just isn't working is going to help his confidence??? No it's gonna keep killing it. Card can make some decent shorter throws and he can run a bit when needed, why the fuck don't we switch it up rather than keep taking obviously impending losses??
  17. oh... the Adam Levine girl
  18. "Laxalt" is a good name for someone awaiting a [ballot] dump.
  19. Hi Jason! There's this Nigerian prince who's loaded but he needs your help...
  20. Montana is such a gorgeous place, and obviously more hospitable than this TX stranglehold. Nothing but "family" holds me to this shithole that would actually reelect a criminal as State Attorney General
  21. I think any non-R candidate for high statewide office hoping for success will have to run as an independent and not a D. That's how far off we are, the D label will always be an absolute hard no to the rurals. And the peaceful self-selection idea would be nice except it'll always be the "haves" sorting into bluer states, while the have-nots left behind in the cities will suffer and chafe under the rule of their overlords into perpetuity.
  22. Aggravated assault means a deadly weapon was used. White Claw..... um ok whatever
  23. https://truthout.org/articles/georgias-governor-deputized-gop-vigilantes-to-challenge-149000-voters/ Can someone explain to me like I'm five, how this isn't quite literally about to result in Herschel's coronation? The margin in that race is way slimmer. They challenged damn near 150,000 voters with nothing of substance to back it, who have lost their constitutional right to vote in Georgia unless they personally went and proved otherwise? W. T. F. How in the fuck does everyone across the country not know about this shit? Should be screamed across the headlines.
  24. Just some criminal mischief to disable a young woman's car so she's vulnerable to whatever you want to do. Not sociopathic at all, from the law and order folks.
