  1. Yeah, Steamboat isn’t going to work in that situation. I’m also a big fan of Wolf Creek for skiing and Pagosa Springs has some cool places. If you’re driving, it’s just about the closest to Texas as you can get. The downside is that Wolf Creek is about 25 miles from Pagosa Springs. Another good option if you’re driving would be Durango. It’s a great town.
  2. The shelves at Albertson’s are going to be pretty bare. Grocery margins are already super thin and I don’t think suppliers are going to want to sell at a loss.
  3. What about Steamboat? I love that mountain and flying into Hayden is pretty damn easy.
  4. People who are rude to front desk people, airline gate agents, etc infuriate me. Those people don’t make enough money to take the abuse that they have to put up with and it’s rare that whatever has gone wrong is their fault. In my experience, being kind when there’s a problem results in the agent going above and beyond to find a solution.
  5. It’s their time of the month.
  6. The restaurant should probably keep a defibrillator nearby with that thing on the menu.

    Denver

Maybe they cleaned it up. Haven’t been to downtown proper in a couple of years due to it being sketchy. We usually end up in LoHi, Cherry Creek or RiNo when we’re in Denver. Have had a great time in all those areas. Sorry you think I’m a miserable individual. I’m actually quite happy and I think you’re a good poster. Blessings, my friend.
  8. How often do passengers take a dump on their seat that there’s a standard procedure for such cases?
  9. That’s peak Houston right there.

    Denver

    Downtown Denver sucks.
  12. Isaiah out on Bond is not getting drafted.
  13. I was just about to post the same thing. Hope it was worth it because it cost him a bunch of money.
  14. I love the “being an UDFA is better because he gets to pick his team” guys. You guys know that you don’t just show up to the team of your choice and fill out new hire paperwork, right?
  15. My wife and I would need to sleep for three days if we covered that much ground in four days. Impressive.
  16. Browns are going to need to build an addition to their QB room to have enough space for everyone on the roster.
  17. That’s awesome. I have so much respect for that organization. After my dad had a stroke a number of years ago, I decided to go through their executive physical program to have everything checked out top to bottom (pun intended?!?). I highly recommend it for anyone that has the means and ability to take a couple days off to fly to Phoenix or Rochester.
  18. Which Mayo location do you go to? Rochester, Phoenix or Jacksonville? When we lived in Arizona, my wife and I got all of our healthcare at Mayo and absolutely loved the experience. It’s a fantastic organization for many reasons as you said. We now use Methodist here in Houston which we're very happy with, but it’s still no Mayo.
  19. I got it. I’m just not as optimistic as you are that there’s even a long shot. When was the last time the lege did something to make the lives of people in Austin or Texas better?
  20. TEA isn’t fixing AISD or fixing recapture. You’re delusional.
  21. I mean this in the nicest possible way because your posts on this topic are normally spot on, but are you currently on drugs and, if so, may I have some?
  22. Option 2 hasn’t happened for HISD so you can mark that one off the list.
  23. Come on, you know why.
  24. Well, for one, he has fewer felony convictions.
