  1. In basketball, it’s been a combination of taking a “negative step” move (putting your leg behind you in order to generate more push) and then pushing off with great force. When the leg is behind you it has the Achilles already in greater tension (due to the large amount of dorsiflexion of the ankle compared when you are simply running). Dame, Jayson Tatum, and Tyrese Halliburton were all injured on similar moves this past NBA season. In Hali’s case, he already had an existing calf strain which was putting even more strain on the Achilles. KD also had it happen a while back. This type of injury could happen on start-stop moves in football, though I feel like on a grass field it could be mitigated. Maybe @Magus Ossis can chime in?
  2. I pretty much don’t care for most super and hyper cars these days, regardless of make. But I do also agree that Bugatti never for much for me. It would still be cool to see one in person, though.
  3. I guess Wingo was in bad guy territory. Damn.
  4. Holy shit man. Incredible pictures. Well done!!
  5. You mean Dazed and Confused 2? That movie was decent (but not nearly as good as D&C).
  6. How could you forget Spy Kids 3-D?? I went to high school with Glen, so at the time it was pretty cool that he was in this.
  7. Also why stuff like Polyphia does absolutely zero for me.
  8. Damn man, sorry to hear it.
  9. Well…what did you buy?!?!
  10. It’s probably (hopefully) a competition in the same way that the starting TE spot is a “competition”.
  11. A team with Bernie, Horner, and Flavio? Good lord.
  12. Are there any updates on Shaw’s knee? Sark described it as a “lingering” issue throughout his career. I’m guessing that anything we get from him is a bonus.

I got my Beatles mono box this week. Apparently some have had some QC issues, but mine seems fine. It is pretty damn great.
  14. Damnit. You right.
  15. Damn, I never got a commemorative cup.
  16. The GOAT Performance.
  17. Thanks! Yes, all were on a tripod except for pic 5, technically. That was at an overlook and there was a rock wall there with a nice flat top that I just set the camera on. I actually took a photo with my phone of that.
  18. Mamiya RB67 | Fuji Velvia 50
  19. Smartphone camera lens extensions exist, but I don’t know if any of them are good. That is the only way without buying either a camera or upgrading your phone to a newer model with better cameras (iPhone Pro models have a 5x optical zoom now). 20. I miss this air show.
  21. 6 cars within 2 tenths is crazy these days. Race should be awesome.
  22. Yeah, the dude goes to go MotoGP races all the time. Was in the Ducati garage last weekend.
  23. Man, I always loved the XJS, even if they were horribly unreliable.
