  1. I want to take a moment to make a short PSA about this popular misconception. Today's consumer software is designed to be intuitive to the point where a person of ANY age can master it. It isn't here to be used exclusively by those "crazy kids." In fact, mastering technology and coupling that with vast life experience can actually be a very potent mix. Now, it is a coincidence that the skills I apply here are the ones that I use for work, but at our business, we are very open-minded about learning any new platforms, cause we are a small company and we don't have Ted from IT to bail us out. As a very wise person once told me, "embrace technology and you'll always be young." Thanks for your time!
  2. Fun fact: I created the Surly Horns logo partially from the Oregon Ducks logo, which is actually Daffy Duck and was given for FREE by Walt Disney to the school in the 1930's. Disney eventually regretted giving it away and tried to get compensation for it, but alas, a deal is a deal.
  3. I went to my first Cowboys game two seasons ago. It was a freak show. The ratio of fat, middle-aged-man-dressed-like-a-chump-and-wearing-gold-chains to attractive women was 100 to 1.
  4. It takes a village to turn an internet meme into true art.
  5. While Deion's Prime 21 Blender Sunglasses live up to their, "look good, feel good, play good," motto, there are plenty of fabulous choices to make this weekend for those who want their look as much haute as hot. Wraparound shapes and mono-lenses — in other words, silhouettes that are synonymous with more form than function — are key accessories in the upcoming months, so consider this for your Colorado/Oregon game gear. Christyn Breckenridge, owner of eyewear brand 3rdeyeview, agrees. “The clash that’s happening right now with athletics and high fashion is dope,” she says. “Razor edge shapes are really popular [right now] — they would normally stay within those sport realms but you can spot them on a celebrity courtside nowadays.” Hope that helps.
  6. How on earth that player wasn't tossed is beyond me. The ball had already hit the ground when he delivered his shot on a defenseless player. All the people lamenting the game today for being "too soft" compared to how they used to play it (or more likely, watched it) might want to read up on all the former players with dementia currently wandering the streets, or killing others or themselves, or the story about doctors studying the brain of a college football player and finding he had an incredible amount of cognitive damage as the result of ten concussions.
  7. Say what you must about her, but I bet she's amazing in bed.
  8. I feel so bad for him. I think he is a terrific person. I hope good things happen for him.
  9. I have no problem whatsoever with people coming here and advocating for their school. We have many great, long-time posters who root for OSU, theOSU, UCLA, Iowa State, etc. However, I don't recall any of those good people like @'stache coming here to inform us that we're all racists, or telling posters like @NoName to fuck off for sharing relevant and informative charts. I don't see that as advocating for his school. I see that as bad posting.
  10. @NoName does a great job of sharing factual information that is actually helpful. He's not just posting to somehow insult you. Jeez. I have an honest question for you. Since so many people here seem to make you angry, wouldn't you enjoy your time more posting on a University of Colorado fan forum?
  11. Good points. Time will tell, for sure, but we've never seen a start like this. The fact that they even have top-rated recruits visiting them shows how much impact Deion has made in a very short time.
  12. Well, we will be crazy busy, but it would be fun to meet up.
  13. LOL, good catch. We need a proofer, if you are looking.
  14. So much fraud involved w big-time athletics. So many of the "student athletes" have nothing whatsoever to do with education and are really employees.
