  1. It probably hardly comes up. I doubt many college players want to pay for their own ticket and skip on the team charter. Not to mention at such short notice it wouldn't be possible. I'd bet the few times it comes up are probably extenuating circumstances, and not I just want to party out here another day.
  2. He turned something that required a simple oopsie daisies won't happen again apology into a 3 ring circus.
  3. If he gets on a team it's going to be at the league minimum regardless of any offset, and he'd be lucky to even get that.
  4. I guess the pandemic derailed things, but talk about striking when the iron is ice cold. I am completely indifferent to GOT content right now.
  5. It’s not illegal, just frowned upon.
  6. Mike McCarthy parties at the potato bar
  7. The show was good. You have terrible taste and your mother is ashamed of you.
  8. This is all funny because it just sheds more light on the fact that Urban is a POS, but Jacksonville already knew that. They weren't hiring him to teach Sunday school. Them looking to can him right now seems equally as dumb.
  9. You heard it here first but this Herbert kid doesn’t suck.
  10. Epps sucked though. He was lucky to wind up at USC.
  11. It's only mentioned because said lesser team is beating us. No one talks about anybody we passed on Tech's roster because our roster curbed stomped them.
  12. I have to do subtitles. The dubbed versions are too distracting especially when the dubbed voice doesn't match the emotion that is being portrayed. Besides ever since I had kids and having to watch TV quietly for so long, I've gotten so used to subtitles that I pretty much have them on for everything
  13. I plowed through Midnight Mass. It's less horror and more just spooky, but I enjoyed a lot of the dialogue. Definitely a good watch if you are a fan of the other horror ventures Flannagan did on Netflix (Hill House, Bly Manor)
  14. I guess I didn't realize we hate dominos. To me it's just a cheap pizza place. I've never had an issue. Is this food quality thing or are they notoriously bad at something I'm not aware of? I'd roll with dominos over Arby's, Jack in the Box, or Taco Bell.
  15. I looked up all the kickers in the HOF and it's a short list. I get why the position is marginalized because it's so much different than the rest of the game, but it's insane that a marginalized position is responsible for so many points. You'd think they would have just made FGs worth 1 point if they wanted to shit on kickers.
  16. Vinatieri will be a good test case. If he goes in first ballot Tucker likely will also.
  17. Peaked with the marble episode and went downhill after that. Disappointing ending, but overall worth the watch.
  18. How much you wanna bet he can kick a football over them mountains
  19. Yeah the used market is great for a seller, but unless you are just offloading a car you can live without, you are going to lose all that buying a new vehicle.
  20. I agree turning Pollard into a workhorse wouldn't be the answer. Offload Zeke and get someone cheaper to get the tough yards. There is no market for Zeke with his current contract.
  21. Laundrie doesn't look like a 185lb professional fighter, but you are right it's not hard to imagine how a probably 140-150lb male can easily manhandle an 80lb chick.
  22. If that's the case, then I think I know what it was. The defense attorney worded a question strangely regarding drugs and sentencing, and the first guy he asked was a decriminalize it and about 90% of the answers by the rest were the same. It was something on the lines of being able to pull the trigger on sentencing a guy if this was a third strike? Most interpreted the question whether they felt that was a good law or not. The attorney then had to clarify his question, and everyone pretty much switched.
  23. I was in voir dire on a drug case. There were probably 30 of us and everyone was giving such stupid responses that I thought for sure I'll be chosen. They ended up dismissing everyone and started over at square 1. Not sure how common that is. God help me if I need any help from a jury.
  24. Yeah he never got Washington over any type of hump, he put out the dumpster fire there but not much else. USC hired him because they knew him from his time as an assistant under Carroll and obviously thought highly of him. His tenure at Washington didn't earn him the USC or Texas jobs. His seasons as an assistant did.
