  1. Didn't pay attention too much when you posted originally but a couple of clicks on Kubotas part website https://kpad.kubota.com/books/1239/figs/36819?active_part_ids=281520000&illust_index=0 and a rightclick copy paste the stud p/n pulls up Messick's website with an instock price of $6. Says used on 66 models so high probability of stock at just about any Kubota dealer . https://www.messicks.com/part/66591-56564/stud
  2. fixed for every 6 yo kid that waded around in a bar ditch out in the country.
  3. Probably an obstruction in its blowhole.
  4. My wife likes have Wheel of Fortune on in the background while cooking dinner or sitting down to eat. For the last year or so they have been pimping Margaritaville retirement communities. Couldn’t even imagine living at a place like that.
  5. Nice. We are thinking of doing a trip to Palmetto and bringing the kayaks and having a float on the river. We have a trip in early May to Village Creek SP and are planning a few paddles on VC.
  6. True, but I was referring more towards Bear and the Dragon where the CIA released a realtime stream of drone video over the battle field. Was a way to inform the Chinese public of what was actually going on. The rolls are reversed of course but its a pretty good analogy of what has been happening between Russia and the Ukraine.
  7. I would settle an actual http://darkstar.cia.gov/ battlefield livefeed. Clancy thought this shit up over 20 years ago and the twitter drone versions we are seeing are very compelling showing the damage in the cities and the destruction of the oppressors.
  8. Let me dance my dance of muzzle sweep everyone in the crowd!
  9. Where's the Glomar Explorer when you need her?
  10. Missiles in the magazine? You see the big tubes on the side of the ship that held the 16 cruise missiles right? I'm probably gonna go with that 16 is a full load for the ship and you head back to the dock or alongside a replenishment ship to get more. I doubt they had any more stored down below anywhere. If the Neptune missile hits the side and those things cook off no telling what on the boat gets destroyed.

    AMMO THREAD

    Truth.
  12. Applebee’s Jeff? I’m starving my ass off here while winning these comps and you give me Applebees! WTF?
  13. This is glorious but what impresses me even more is that you are cooking it in an RV, specifically a Grand Design Imagine? RV thread is over in Hobbies >>>
  14. Yeah the aren’t real powerful, only about 40 hp. My dad bought this one in 87 or 88 with about 800 or so hrs on it and but 600 hrs on it cutting in some soon to be canals along our shallow shoreline of a large lake that was impounded in 1989. He used it around our place on and on a bit for the next 10 years or so until the reverser went out on it. It sat for probably 15 years until I finally found someone that agreed to work on it for me. Paid probably 50% of its worth getting the repairs done but it’s a really tight machine with not many hours on the engine or undercarriage. I’m looking forward to pushing a bunch of cedar we have growing up in some areas. A bunch of the JD 350s were used for small scale logging and for fire fighting up north. Small size was easy to move around in the woods. I wish this one was set up for a winch but it doesn’t have all the right controls for it. Here’s my 88yo dad on it last year when I dragged it out in the open where I could winch it up on the trailer.
  15. Yes, new one at 1604 and 281
  16. That 'yote is just howling at your wife's ass. Smart boy.
  17. Tell him to shift out of first.
  18. Don't know what would be the be way to straighten that out. If you use a jack, you have to make sure the bent side goes back out and you are not pushing the currently straight side out. I might try something like that but I will chain the mower to the dozer blade to keep the straight side from moving. Mine doesn't rub or anything so I'm gonna leave it like it is for a while and fight some other battles.
  19. Big post with lots of pics inbound ... So the day I got the tractor and mower dropped off at our place and I ran it for a little bit and the mower was vibrating like crazy. Like shake the tractor and mower apart vibrate. That's not good. Couldn't really dig into it that day as I had some other things to take care of but was able to drop it on top of some wooden posts and crawl under it and check the blades and stump jumper. Found the pan welds on the stump jumper were completely broken off and the yoke beat big holes were it was welded and it was way off center. I also noted that one blade was higher than the other. That seems to be a problem. I didn't have any tools to pull the stump jumper so I made plans to make it back up the next weekend to figure out what to do. I priced a new stump jumper and talked to the dealer I bought it from and we agreed he would cover the cost if it was just a new pan. I talked to a buddy who had to replace a sj on one of his mowers and he gave me some suggestions and loaned me a pulling tool that uses a jack to pull the yoke off of the gearbox spline shaft. I used the forks to pick up the mower and flip it up against a tree, then strapped it to keep it from falling on me. Oh, hey, that's the little JD350C dozer that's been forever getting fixed. Works like champ now, just got to replace a bunch of rotted hydraulic hoses. 20V Dewalt grinder and a cutoff wheel made quick work of the pan removal I read a bunch about the pan yoke getting stuck and taking lots of pressure, heat and a good sledgehammer. 20T jack made it easy and the thing popped right off. Not supposed to do this I believe. Hmm, new gearbox is $1k and new shaft and gear is $800. Gonna have to try a different approach. Put the wobbly POS on the trailer and took it back to the dealer and swapped it for a different unit. Stepped up to a 3" capacity cutter in a little rougher shape but works great. That's it for this edition of davidg's tractor chronicles but let see next time if he gets completely soaked in hydraulic fluid after forgetting to tighten one of 14 hoses he's replacing on a small dozer.
  20. Were were gonna go Friday night but by the time we got headed out it was close to 9 and I think they close then. We hit Tomatillo's for dinner instead. Daughter and her boyfriend went to Trinity and his parents lived within walking distance of the Broadway location so they were regular's. Spicy salsa is pretty damn good for a restaurant salsa.
  21. We were in SA this weekend visiting our daughter (nopics). We had a quick brunch at La Panaderia Saturday morning that was great, then hit the King William Fair for the day. Drinking many $10 cups of beer and a spicy chicken breast with a jalapeño on a stick allowed me to push through the whole day. We ended up at Beto’s Alt Amex for dinner and slammed some chicken poblano empanadas for dinner. The wild fire at Bullis looked pretty bad when we were headed up 281 after the fair. Had to go back to daughters place to check animals before eating.
  22. Bait. Gotta have some bait.
