  1. This is great advice. Spend a bit to get this done and then call all your former competitors, vendors and clients and let them know you are available. Tell them that you have a very particular set of skills. Skills you have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make you a great asset for people like them. Then sit back and profit.
  2. I really like the idea of this but filters in the wheel well and fuel lines coming of the bottom of an unprotected tank are a hard pass from me.
  3. Now serving fresh sashimi in the aquarium restaurant.
  4. Mel Gibson down on the bottom row thinking to himself: Alright, I'm not the crazy one anymore.
  5. If you ask my wife, she’d say I have too many books, tools, guns/hunting so and fishing gear. She is constantly asking if I need all that stuff. Me: You bet your ass I do.
  6. Better sleep with one eye open
  7. So, who's giving the Mission to Uranus to their wife?
  8. "Drop 50 and fire for effect"
  9. Summer of '89 I was just out of school and went to Japan with another guy who was older to install some equipment in a fair exhibition in Sendai. He wore cowboy boots all the time and said he was very happy to be wearing them the first time he encountered an asian style squatting pan.
  10. So this video came up after the one posted above. Dude's got balls (and a large pistol) to bluff on the bear. Comments mentioned that they were watching some other bears in the other direction and this one kinda snuck up on them. Dude is a guide and loaned his bear spray to another person that day. Said they were in a remote area and that the bear was a juvenile and probable had never encountered humans before.
  11. Got a Rem Mohawk 600 in 243 that loves 70 and 95 grn ballistic tips. 70grn on top of varget are bad medicine on called coyotes.
  12. Bought my Russian APC hauler last weekend, gonna pick it up Friday. It’s a 2009 Kubota M6040F 2wd. 55 pto hp and pre-Tier IV so no emission. It has 2k hrs but looks in great shape. Been wanting to get one for a while and things kinda came together in the last month. Got a shredder to go along with it and gonna pick up a set of pallet forks on Friday too. Got most of the other attachments I need already at the family place but will add a FEL third function and grapple later this year. Gonna do a full engine/hydraulic oil/filter service first thing and start on a clean slate. Also got word that out little JD 350c dozer might be finished getting the reverser repaired by Friday too. Gonna be all kinds of dirt work done in the next couple of months.
  13. I watched Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 with my kids a thousand times when they were young. This version of Rhapsody in Blue popped up in my feed a few days ago and I watched and became enamored with Khatia Buniatishvili. Those hands and that hair. The second piece for almost 2 minutes starting at 7:45. Gotdamn!
  14. Lulz, this shite has been going on forever in Houston and I assume a lot of other places. Worked with an older guy who let it slipped that he was hit up by the Rolex Bandit back in the late '80s - early '90s. Picked up a girl at on of the Richmond bars, took her home and she drugged him. He didn't show up for work for a day and a half and finally coughed up the story when pressed.
  15. Lobby shitter was my goto move when staying in a hotel with the family. Go down there, camp out in the handicapped stall and get some privacy and peace to do my business.
  16. Do y'all ever go see the Iditarod come by? Man, those dogs run.
  17. Several of my aunts and uncles made a trip to Russia in 1979 or 1981 (it was either right before or after the Olympics as they brought back tons of Olympic pins to give to us kids) and one of my uncles was standing out in front of his hotel one morning smoking a cigarette and a guy came up to him and offered him $200 US cash right then and there for his Levi’s. He said he would have sold them if it hadn’t been snowing.
  18. Yeah, I'm not going the 50' to the shitter at night without a firearm in AK and you walk 1.5 miles in the snow, at night, without a light, empty handed?
  19. Counterpoint: Holes has a sweaty Sigourney Weaver and Patricia Arquette on horseback.
