  1. That's because it would happen in the biggest games in the biggest moments. Sticks out a ton. But it didn't happen to him at any extraordinary rate.
  2. If he's a downgrade from Ewers we're turbo fucked. If he's just the same level as Ewers we're fucked. Ewers was the weak link on last year's team outside of specialists. I'm expecting him to be a considerable step up from Ewers, and that may still not be a Heisman winner. If Arch is in NY for the ceremony we're the favorite for the title this season. We have that much talent on hand.
  3. A tale as old as JMMC. Still one of the funniest things I've ever read on the internet.
  4. Wait, what's the story on him screwing people over? I knew there had to be something sinister with that dude. I went over to 247 back in the day when Bobby started it up and Champkind was a major dick over there. Then on shaggy/here he seemed like a decent dude. Thought it was 2 different people for a while until he verified we was on 247 too on the same name. I never tried his Houston area BBQ simply because I couldn't stand the guy on 247
  5. Now this is a man who has studied the intricacies of the looming house settlement issue and it's potential impact on spending.
  6. That's true, last year the consensus was we needed to land one of fasusi or Turntine to be an anchor left tackle. And that was before we had Nick Brooks and he apparently showed out as the next LT after Goosby. They're still on track, just need to finish with a couple more developmental OL. The NFL draft is littered with 3 and low 4 star OL every year. They need to get the right guys that will sit a couple of years and develop.
  7. The whole house settlement issue could change things to our detriment. We just don't know how that will shake out yet after all the lawsuits and legal junk. The main issue is not having terms that players sign for preventing immediate transfers with no penalties. As far as I know that hasn't been addressed yet. Fact is no one has any idea how this will ultimately play out. It could not have much of a negative impact on us, or it could revert to old days where there were rules we refused to cross but our fellow top programs very willingly crossed and routinely beat us to the best players. If that worst case happens then get ready to lose Sark to the NFL after the 2026 season if this AD isn't ready to get as dirty as needed to win as well. But for now we have no idea, the only thing we know is we have a championship level window for 2025 and 2026 with probably the 2nd most talented QB that's ever stepped on campus. So relax now and get ready for September and enjoy the ride. Nothing we can do about the future after that right now.
  8. From stuff Bobby and Gerry are saying the staff expects Nick Brooks to be a 2 yr started at LT after this year. Then if they land Turntine I imagine he gets there after unless he plays RT first. Baker has 2 years at RT as well right now. Any HS tackle they bring in after Turntine will likely be a backup for 2 years, minimum. High profile dudes don't want that. I don't understand the house settlement shit or the desire to regulate pay. You can't regulate pay because any restrictions you put will just be cheated with outside cash payments being arranged. So how about leaving that alone and regulating what you can? Namely eligibility limits and transfer rules. Make it where once a dude signs he only gets 1 free transfer without having to sit, or none at all unless the HC leaves, and it would make more sense to spend big on HS recruits if you know they will have to sit for 1 to 2 years before they'll play. At most positions anyone we sign now won't see the field much at all for a year at minimum. Sark is in a tough position because you don't want to throw a ton of money at a dude that will just get pissed and transfer out after sitting a year, and with the new rules not being set yet he has no idea what the game will be in 8 months to a year.
  9. "Maybe god thinks some people don't deserve to see"
  10. I wasn't clear. A year from when they return to playing. So approximately 2 years from the time of injury. They almost always look stiff and a little slow for the first season back if they injured it preseason. I do think he will be ready to log snaps at OSU. Whether they keep him out as a precaution though? Depends how he looks in camp.
  11. Those type of injuries typically take a year before really being back as close to normal. Unless he really knocks it out I expect him to be back in '26. I think he'll be good enough this season to where we don't have a 1000 yd back. It'll be a committee, and Arch will also get his yards
  12. Texas has to do whatever it takes to win now that they moved to the SEC. You can't choose to get in bed with cheaters then play by the rules. The AD will become a laughing stock if they try to stay clean in the SEC if there's any regulations put in. They have to at least match whatever cheating the best in the SEC are doing.
  13. The surefire way to make sure Arch comes back in 2026 is if Cleveland picks in the top 2
  14. I don't think he started acting until he retired from his regular work and was in his 60s

  17. I'm at the point where I actively cheer against all USA national teams in everything. Because if any of those athletes had any sense or pride in their country they would refuse to represent this piece of shit as constituted. If there's a way to have negative national pride I'm there.
  18. Is that from an advertisement they send to European Christian churches' bulletins?
  19. So we get NO too? Take that, merge to there's only 2 senators for all of it, cut the DC house representatives by half, and divide the total electoral votes by 10 and let's do it.
  20. A David Lynch show for teen girls? Now that I would like to see.
  21. If you bring that up to them they hide behind "we've said all along this is big boy recruiting and anything can change at any moment". Honestly, I haven't listened to any of their shows in well over a month. It's not really worth the listen until August again.
  22. RB recruiting was bound to suck this time of year just like DT recruiting did last year at this time. The coaching change has an impact. But if Baxter bounces back and the RBs have a good season it'll come around by signing day. There's also the logjam right now as Baxter is mostly likely going to be back for the 2026 season. So unless Wisner has a good enough season to go pro it's a crowded room.
  23. Damn so he has to sit the season since there's no portal window, right? Unless he gets lucky and they fire the coach before the season.
