  1. I'm still trying to decipher if he's talking in English.
  2. It's no Clinton Crime Family, but I think we can get at least two solid decades out of connecting the Biden's to every right wing conspiracy theory imaginable. Ben Shapiro is no Rush Limbaugh, but he'll have to do.
  3. So when you pretended not to care about Hunter Biden in the Hunter Biden thread...you actually do care about Hunter Biden. Because of course you do.
  4. Yeah, that stood out to me as well. As if we need further proof that Trump is God to these people.
  5. Smart. Piss off and threaten the dude who knows where all the bodies are buried--some of which he buried himself and would probably like immunity from.
  6. Man, I lived in a pretty blissful bubble until 2020. Until then, I honestly thought that Trump supporters knew that he was lying, but liked him for it. Trolling and riling up the libs and the "MSM" by saying outlandish and nonsensical things and what not. It wasn't until I started hearing otherwise smart people repeat "COVID is going to magically disappear in November" (as if the entire world was conspiring and exaggerating their dead bodies to beat Trump in an election), and then, of course, millions of people buying into his utterly stupid boy-who-cried-wolf election lies that I finally realized, holy shit, people actually believe this moron. I miss being naive.
  7. "You're one of the most important people, James Woods." Give me phrases that have never been said before for $500, Alex.
  8. Yeah, man, I'm an Aggie who's been in a military family my entire life...what do you think the odds are that I was a practicing conservative in 2015? I've made most of your overly-simplistic, emotionally-based, naive, juvenile arguments at some point in my life to defend one GOP cause or another. Luckily, I grew up. I disagree with Democrats on a shit ton of policy issues. Just not the main ones that effect human life and call for a little decency. Any response to my earlier post about the issues that actually matter, or nah?
  9. slorch now rejects Trump (good job, buddy!) but votes for Ted Cruz, who has Trump's dick so far down his throat that he volunteered to be the lawyer arguing that stupid election lawsuit in Dec 2020 before the Supreme Court (understanding full well that there would be no oral arguments, but he knows his voters are fucking morons, so whatevs). Who is the example that Tubberville is following now. Who threw his kids under a bus to excuse his Cancun trip. Whose only principle is self-ambition. All because Beto made a stupid comment about guns. I've said this before, but Texas voters crack me up, and slorch is the quintessential example. For a Democrat to possibly win in Texas, he/she has to be a lifelong Texan, not come from money, be an outdoorsman/hunter, constantly remind people that they believe in the 2nd, never waffle even slightly on a single issue, and portray a perfect family life. For a Republican to win in Texas, a Canadian just has to throw on a cowboy hat and some boots, hold a fishing reel backwards, and say woke a lot.
  10. Uh, how the fuck are you supposed to mock Trump from a grounded, subtle perspective? He's a fucking cartoon character. The new guy they have basically just impersonates him to the letter, which is impressive, but I wouldn't call it funny ha ha. More funny in a "holy shit, we elected someone who actually talks like this the President."
  11. Right now, there's exactly one choice that doesn't bend the knee to MAGA and the latest conspiracy theory du jour. Just one. The other side is far from perfect--no, your problems aren't going to be solved immediately by changing sides--but you probably don't have to worry about attempted coups by the dumbest people alive when you vote for them. Find me the principled conservative who openly rejects Trumpism, doesn't care about Hunter Biden or the Clinton family, isn't fighting for even less gun restrictions, doesn't want to ban books, thinks forcing women to carry unwanted pregnancies isn't sustainable, wants the LGTBQ community to have the same rights as you have, and acknowledges the very real threat of climate change. If they exist, they'd have my vote. But they've already been ostracized from the party because the GOP--and its voters--don't want principles right now. They want conspiracies and anger.
  12. Ted Cruz is literally the godfather of holding up nominations and promotions in the Senate over petty bullshit. Where do you think Tommy learned it from?
  13. Yes, can you? I asked you a question, and you misdirected with a bunch of milquetoast non sequiturs and generalities. It's the same shit with you: "Both sides are equally bad!...I can't come up with a single comparison right now, but take my word for it!"
  14. Maybe remember shit like this the next time you try to suggest that all politicians are the same. The modern day GOP just loves to go that extra mile into full shitheel territory.
  15. And it's not even a little embarrassing that things like these are what "your side" spends most of its time obsessing over?
  16. Don't be such a dumbass. If Trump didn't win, we'd still have Dobbs. We'd at least have the mechanisms for reasonable gun control in the future. He fucked over the Supreme Court for the foreseeable future. The damage of which we're only just beginning to feel. There would definitely be less people dead from COVID. Oh, and maybe we wouldn't have irrecoverably lost millions of our friends and family down conspiracy theory rabbit holes.
  17. Yeah, well, that is the plural.
  18. No offense, dude, but this is some weak bullshit. Do I love that our current President is 137 years old? Of course not. But arguably the most important job of a President is who he surrounds himself with, so pretending like he and Trump are both in the same vicinity of bad choices it's fundamentally dishonest. It's not luck that there's competent people in the White House now. And you're subtly advancing the "senile old man being pulled around by his puppeteers" narrative. No, his foreign relations and years in politics have served him (and the United States) well. You can just say that he's done a much better job than you expected. It's okay.
  19. That's all fine and dandy. But Hilary didn't cause Trump. Millions of angry, gullible, short-sighted wannabe anarchists who finally thought they had a voice did.
  20. Hilary was a bad candidate, largely because of decades of targeted attacks from the right. Among other personality-based (and, let's face it, gender-based) reasons. But trying to blame Democrats for causing Trump by running a bad candidate is some bitch-made, cowardly shit to try absolve yourself from guilt and embarrassment. So, of course, that's what Incredulity is going with. Trump wasn't some unknown that you decided you'd rather give a shot to than Hilary, and then got burned on it. No, it was Donald fucking Trump. You knew exactly who he was and is. You voted for him because you wanted to. Full stop. You knew how fucking vapid and stupid he is, and how everything he touches turns to shit. But the stuff he said about Hilary and Obama made you laugh. You like trolls when they go after people you don't like. And, at least, he's not a dirty liberal (anymore). Not much more complex than that. Just fucking own it, you cowards.
  21. This. Why is she "that bad"? I'll admit to being in the club that despised her for...reasons...that I couldn't specifically name if my life depended on it. That, of course, led to some soul searching on whether I would have had nearly as strong of an opinion on her is she was just another off-putting male politician.
