Who's been covid vaxxed? Stand up and be counted.
Except there are at least half a dozen states who immediately went, "Wait, we can do that?? We should do that!!"

Trump’s America
If there's one aspect of "genius" in the Trump administration it's having a keen understanding of how far people--even generals--will bend, capitulate, step aside, roll over to avoid losing the automatic deposit in their bank account every two weeks.

Trump’s America
Don't be ridiculous. He'd never do anything that drastic. He'd just personally award the Super Bowl MVP trophy to Patrick Mahomes' wife.

Trump’s America
The kicker is that at least 5 of the people in the room who disapprove still wouldn't take back their vote because something, something radical left agenda something, something.

Trump’s America
The guy who was integral in bringing Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Greyhound, and Masters of the Air to the screen is too woke for West Point. Fuck. Move over, Brisket. I'm coming on the ledge. It. Is. Over.

It's an extremely competitive race, but I think Florida might legit be the dumbest state.

Ballmer alleged to have paid Kawhi Leonard 28m under the table to avoid the salary cap
Are posters writing this off as an unserious offense, or are they skeptical that the NBA will levy a punishment harsh enough for Ballmer and Kawhi to really feel? Pretty big difference.

NFL Week 1 - The march to Santa Clara
It worked, so they get to be geniuses, but, if your margin for error for running your kick team out there perfectly, lining up, and having the kicker set up without rushing is less than 2 seconds, then the odds of something slowing you down slightly is much greater than Baltimore getting into field goal range with 20 seconds and no timeouts. But ballsy as fuck to trust your guys enough to execute when a second and half later and you've committed one of the biggest completely self-inflicted blunders in recent memory.

NFL Week 1 - The march to Santa Clara
Don't get me wrong, it was bad ass, but literally no practical reason to not kick on third down.

Cut that unnecessarily close.

Can one of these teams with clearly far superior rosters than Kansas City finally beat them in the AFC Championship Game this year? Jesus fuck.

Better odds of Trump losing an NFL stadium before a high level tennis or golf event.

NFL Week 1 - The march to Santa Clara
Aaron Rodgers, in Week 1, throwing shade at his former franchise who paid a 40 year-old $75M to give them one season of mediocre quarterback play is peak Aaron Rodgers.

Going to have to narrow it down.

Formula 1 2025
I suppose it would depend on which driver you ask. I'm sure Lando is happy as the trailing in points driver to be able to fight his teammate for wins...but still kind of pissed that he, as the more experienced driver, wasn't the clear #1 from when Oscar was a rookie. I'm sure Oscar thinks his much improved Saturday results and race consistency should have earned him priority...but is also glad, as a 2nd year driver, that team orders weren't put in place from Race 1. Not saying McLaren is handling it will, but there's also not a clear answer either.

Formula 1 2025
Oh, for sure. I thought that Hungary was fucking stupid and anti-competitive in real-time. You either pit Oscar first, in order, and let Lando fend for himself, or you pit Lando (who was way ahead in points) and live with Oscar's frustration if he gets undercut. But that's McLaren. This year, one of their drivers is going to win the WDC, and they're at least pretending to not care who.
-
Formula 1 2025
Okay, man. You see it through way different glasses. Last year in Hungary was a much more in doubt result than today when the last round of pitting happened. And only Lando had a shot at the WDC. If you manufacturer the swap then, you have to today, when Lando was clearly the 2nd best car on the track. You disagree. That's fine.

Formula 1 2025
Also, this. We're arguing over 3 points. McLaren has already locked up the constructor's championship, and they're going to finish 1-2 in the Driver's. Going back on the precedent that they set last year over 3 points (I guess technically 6) would be an even bigger self own, and for what purpose?
