  1. These dudes lured in migrants under false pretenses, kidnapped them, bussed them up the coast, and dropped them somewhere that they were completely unfamiliar with. Then openly bragged about it. Let's not pretend a little fraud and embezzlement is going to have any object permanence here.
  2. I'd be surprised if we see her again. Makes his sacrifice in Rogue One even more tragic. He fulfilled his destiny, but, in doing so, she'll never know about it, and she'll never find him. Seems like the fitting end to their story.
  3. There's a full 3 days of rest between Games 5 and 6. So Game 6 isn't until next Sunday. I imagine, if it's anything more than the slightest of tweaks, that's the game they'll be targeting. Hope they can get another fluky win at home in Games 3 or 4, then put everything into Game 6 at home to force a Game 7. Obviously, that goes tits up if Minnesota wins 3 straight. I mean, you're wrong, but I like the spirit.
  4. Golden State is losing every game that Steph doesn't play. They just don't have the horses. A bunch of extremely limited offensive players with the basketball IQ to operate effectively around Steph's gravity. Jimmy playing iso ball with kickouts to Buddy Hield ain't gonna cut it for 48 minutes.
  5. Every Warriors offensive possession about to get very, very tense.
  6. We're sure that DiVincenzo isn't a Warriors' sleeper agent?
  7. Pat Spencer with the sky hook!
  8. Buddy Hield with a Steph relocation 3. Okay, this is dumb. Completely unsustainable, but awesome.
  9. Pat Spencer is checking into a 2nd round playoff game whose outcome is in doubt. Fuck it, let's do it.
  10. Golden State's defense has been really, really good (they ain't the Lakers)...but, holy shit, I have no idea whatsoever what Minnesota's offensive gameplan is. Attempt a bunch of contested 3s and awkward distance floaters?
  11. Barkley ragging on Gobert and saying he can't be out there because he's unable to contest Green's 3s...uhhh, you mean the threes that teams have happily, purposely, consistently given him for 12 years? It's a tough matchup for Rudy because it pulls him into actions no where near the basket, not because it leaves Draymond open from the top of the key. Jesus, this is pretty basic stuff.
  12. C'mon now. This roster just isn't built to compete without Steph. The only hope is to figure out a way to hold onto this one, punt Game 2, then hope Steph can give you 80% by Saturday.
  13. Welp, that sucks. This could have been an epic series.
  14. Can't win this game and gonna get swept without Steph. Good thing hamstring pulls are quick healing.
  15. Players are so fucking dumb when it comes to every player vote.
  16. Duh. The Biden overhang is expected to last 3 years. ...unless something good happens.
  17. 100%. Boston's not scared of New York whatsoever. And they've been down in a playoff series many, many times with that core. They know if they even shoot below average from 3, they almost certainly win. OKC is a young team playing the best player in the world, now knowing they have to win at least one game in Denver.
  18. Every time I read an Helobious post, I get a hearty chuckle when I remember that he's in his mid-to-late 30's. Then I'm deeply saddened when I realize that perpetually online, self-important dorks and trolls who never grew up effectively control the world.
  19. Sadly, for our simpleton, reality TV watching society, yes. Being abrasive, insulting, and repeating simple phrases--lest the listener feel dumb or think the speaker is too uppity--makes you a real Martin Luther King these days.
  20. The secret should be out that Trump is a paper tiger and there's no detriment to going right at him, minus an angry, stupid tweet.
  21. Shaq asking Jamal Murray while he's celebrating a huge win what he's going to say to himself after a 6-16 performance when he knows the team needs more from him to win... WTF? Like Murray was James Harden out there. Shaq sucks at this.
  22. OKC is probably still going to win this series, but tonight is why the notion of anyone other than Jokic as the real MVP is highly suspect. And that's not a knock against SGA. Jokic is just on another planet when it comes to putting a team on his back. Dude's bringing it for 48 minutes.
  23. Old Russ would have gone straight to the basket for a flailing, "maybe they'll call a foul" layup attempt.
  24. Man, if Denver could just get anything from MPJ or a bench player not named Russ, this could be a real series.
