  1. Man, I have less than zero sympathy for anyone losing their ass on Truth Social. I have some (exceptionally little) sympathy for people still planning on voting for him because of decades of Fox News and disinformation rotting their ability to find nuance in literally anything. And because a not insignificant percentage of my family and friends fit in this group. But even they realize by now that money spent on anything Trump related ain't going anywhere useful. Those people are too dumb to function in our society.
  2. Who pissed in your Cheerios?
  3. "50 year old Tiger Woods, on one leg, struggling all day to get back to even par in extremely rough conditions. Just didn't have his best game." "Elsewhere on the course, world top 5 golfers Rory McIlroy and last year's champ Jon Rahm fighting to make the cut at +4." Tiger's incredible. Full stop. If he'd just keep his mouth shut and not talk about winning, everyone would appreciate how amazing him making the cut is. Sorry to those who tire of his coverage. Dude's going to be able to grind out a 73 on any course on the planet until he's 70.
  4. People who find the Babylon Bee funny need to be jettisoned into space. No subtley, everything just beats you over the nose.
  5. If Phoenix beats Sacramento and Golden State beats New Orleans tonight (both heavily favored), Golden State almost certainly gets the 8 seed. Which means GS can climb to the 7 seed by beating Phoenix in the play in. Denver wouldn't give a fuck, but I doubt OKC or Minnesota really want to see Steph and Co. in round one with their 2nd best record in the league since mid January and winners of 17 of their last 21 road games. Sunshine pumping over. Now that I typed that, the Pelicans are going to win by 25 tonight.
  6. An very openly Christian actor who portrays an alpha male and uses lots of guns. Basically someone MAGA already had penciled in near the top of their hopefully unwoke Hollywood favorites
  7. Mea culpa. Obviously meant "not guilty" not "innocent". I absolutely agree that other venues would have still found him guilty, despite the evidence tampering and police racism. I disagree with the notion that the case was "over" when they kept it in LA. There's no scenario where all 12 jurors vote not guilty with the evidence on hand. 2 or 3 jurors trying to get "payback" for Rodney King wouldn't have gotten enough traction without shitty cops who just couldn't help themselves.
  8. This is bullshit. The jury would not have unanimously found him innocent anywhere in the country if not for the police screw ups. At worst, it's a hung jury without tampering and cops who love saying the N word. Some of the jurors have admitted to wanting to see a black man beat the legal system for a change--regardless of guilt--but the police have no one to blame but themselves for introducing that reasonable doubt for them to latch onto.
  9. Denver was 11-1 at home in last year's playoffs. They're coming out of the West.
  10. We should all want this. Let that two-time loser bound for actual criminal charges dismantle the entire party.
  11. Yeah, I think she's banking on "I was the only Republican to speak out against Trump" finally being a good thing with voters in 2028. We'll see.
  12. Seriously though, who the fuck are all those guys?
  13. I feel ya, I need my nightly Julian Champagnie fix too.
  14. I don't care how hot the Warriors finish the regular season--most teams playing for seeding win a bunch down the stretch with half the league either resting stars or packing for Cancun--they're still not very good, and they're not getting past the first round, if they even get there ...but damn it's at least nice to see Klay return to form over the second half of the season. Dude looked absolutely done a few months ago.
  15. To his credit, it's only his 6th missed game of the season, which may as well pretty much his Cal Ripken streak.
  16. Is a 35-4 run a good way to start a road game? Jesus Phoenix, the home folks weren't even in their seats yet.
  17. I bet Steph plays if his postseason is as short-lived as it appears. He's never participated in the Olympics and probably has enough self awareness to know that it's the last big thing to win in his career. No need to save his body for mid-June playoff runs anymore.
  18. Yes, sure, mathematically. The teams above them ain't losing 3 games. And the Kings hold their tiebreaker. If they lose tonight, the Warriors hold their tiebreaker too.
  19. That's just what big eclipse wants you to think.
  20. Today I learned that Jim Rome is still on the air. Tomorrow I will forget again.
