  1. Yeah I've never even remotely considered moving for political reasons until Trump's second term. Now I'm thinking about it all the time. I do think there are some signs of the tide slowly starting to turn though.
  2. Yep. He's not wrong. I said it on day 1 when Trump started making these demands, that the businesses, universities etc would be smarter to tell him to fuck off, federal funding or not. Say 'we'll see you in court'. Yes, they might take a hit in terms of Federal funding, but they'd recover and learn to live without it. Most importantly, they'd be back in control of their own destinies. The bully will never be satisfied & will never go away until you put up a fight. Once you do fight back, they'll quit like the gaping pussies that they are.
  3. Toyota is already Haas's technical partner. I've been thinking for a while that Toyota will take a larger role in the team moving forward. That makes Horner's move there make some sense imho, if he is indeed headed there.
  4. What is that ... an amusement park for ants?
  5. My kid just showed me this. Holy shit. nsiap.
  6. You and me both, Brother Fuck. It can only good happen.
  7. ... and a Walter Cronkite reference! Get your Horns up! And yeah, I'll echo the other posters saying Jimmy fucking nailed it last night. Struck just the absolute perfect chord. It was inspiring, and at least for me, gave me a little hope.
  8. Indeed. Huge swinging cojones.
  9. Oh yeah. You're preaching to the choir. There are all sorts of ways they could re-introduce some variability with tire choices alone, and in other areas too. But instead, they just do nothing, or go in the other direction.
  10. Superhero, up in da club ...
  11. Nah. The new F1 hates variabilty & excitement. That shit's for us old guys.
  12. Oh, great. Thanks! I think I misread the earlier post about who owns what.
  13. Absolutely. It's not like he's my kid or anything, but got dammit, I was very proud of him. Say what you want about the guy, but it takes big swinging cojones to do what he does and then come right back and do it again after this fiasco. What he did and what TDS continues to do gives me a bit of hope.
  14. Longer than that for anyone who's ever had the displeasure of dealing with COTA. Fuck Bobby Epstein.
  15. I'm guessing the Turnip & his buddies are shorting the stock ...
  16. Sounds desperate.
  17. Speaking of clown kings ... nice 'toe. nsiap.
  18. Yeah, cool. That's what I thought.
  19. Gen Xer here who has never once thought there would actually be any SS payment for me by the time I got old enough to collect it. I never once counted on it being there for me. Looks like I was right. Not spending SS money at all, esp on trump merch. I'll likely never see a penny of it anyway. Now, I'm just hoping they don't get their hands on my retirement. Still looking at places to move to. Mx & BC high on the list. I'm pretty financially illiterate, so I have no idea how I'd be able to take my money with me. ETA: I'm at the old end of Gen X. Are there even any Gen Xers old enough to draw SS?
  20. Yeah, ridiculing them absolutely was fucking working. I never understood why we stopped either.
  21. "Democracy depends on heavy doses of civility". Thank you, Mike Pence, for saying what so many in this country need to be told right now. Even people with wildly different political opinions can still get this. I just hope there are still enough of us around.
  22. Ah, ok. So they're full of shit. That's what I thought.
  23. Look! He said a decent thing from time to time! That completely negates all the vile, hateful shit he said over and over.
  24. That reminds me ... what's this about 'trans messaging on the casings' that I keep hearing from idiots like Nancy Mace? What exactly is the 'trans messaging' they're referring to, if it exists at all?
