  1. Racers are such neat sneks.
  2. … don’t spray it (outside the jar.)
  3. Allegedly the boat on the left was in trouble, the one on the right was there to assist. He then got the kid out of danger first.
  4. And worth jack fuck today, too. I read this morning that Jac may be up by the end of June. Hope he's ready and makes the final jump like he has been so far.
  5. Nice. That sounds like it'll be a great space.
  6. Can it take any longer for the 5th to get here? Seems like it’s been 6 months already.
  7. How much space are you enclosing? Make it another room, like a 4-season porch, or something larger where a steel-framed enclosure could cover a lot more? I’m doing the latter option when I build in a few years, if steel isn’t stupid high by then.
  8. That’s ridiculous. Did something else happen before the clip they replayed a few times? There wasn’t nothing in that. Saw the opposite of that earlier this week. Guy headed into second, defender drops a knee in the path to field the ball. Not happening this year with the rule change. Ump didn't call it, manager asked him about it and remind him of the rule change. He got ejected.
  9. Interesting. Our other issues had more of my attention, but that’s not a bad idea. I wonder if that’s why Massey’s been in left a few times with India at 2nd in the last week or two. Looks like Jac is excelling in Omaha, after the bump up from NW Arky. Not sure how much longer he’ll need, but he seems to be getting close.
  10. Got a couple bids the other day to have 2 trees taken out. What was a really nice green ash tree last year, already half dead this year and growing. It got those green ash borers pretty bad at some point in the last 8-10 months. It’s about a 25ft wide canopy, and close to 30ft tall. The other is a “seedless cottonwood” that’s close to 50ft tall, with maybe a 20ft canopy. It gets beat up and loses a lot of limbs from heavy winds. To remove both trees and grind the stumps, one bid was $2800, the other was $3100.
  11. - MJ: AAA - Hunter: DFA - Biggio: better be soon Who’s your 4th? (note, not taking bullpen into account) Canha? (I think he’s ok as a backup for now, but we can do better.) Waters? (I kinda like Drew. He’s not super refined, but he’s played hard in the field, is hitting ok and improving.) Saw the Bananas tonight, and had fan duel running on my phone. Couple people looked at me weird a few times when the stadium wasn’t making a play, but the Royals were.
  12. That. Was. Fun. I wouldn't want that every game, every season, but it was a fun evening.
  13. KC DFA’s Renfroe. Fucking finally. Two down, one to go.
  14. According to that article, they’re still on probation until 2028, from that Pruitt shit. But nothing happened because their state law prohibits the ncaa from enforcing any penalties. Their Attorney General threatened to sue the ncaa if they tried to enforce a post-season ban, and they didn’t. Now TN just recently enacted this new law that pretty much prohibits both state and private institutions in a P4 conference from following the house settlement. It also prohibits those same institutions from signing any agreement to follow the house settlement. That’s pretty fucking funny.
  15. They can’t count most of the ones they already have. You think something like that would stop them?
  16. No, they aren’t addicted to weed. It may be a habit, but it’s not addictive. Alcohol? Tobacco? Coke? Opioids? Yep. Cannabis? No. It is not physically addictive.
  17. Never walk/drive away without checking. Can’t get your order right, yet they want way more money. No thanks.
  18. Well, the good news there is: it’s your money. Have at it if you’d like
  19. Man, that sucks. I feel for y’all dealing with all that shit. Anyone got a rider on your homeowners for the pool? I can’t fathom how truly frustrating it is to have no recourse because everyone closed up shop.
  20. THC addiction. Sorry, that’s horseshit. THC is not physically addictive. You’re not going to OD on weed. You’d have to smoke a ridiculous amount to “OD”, and we’re talking smoking thousands of pounds in like 7 minutes. The biggest bullshit is people falling for the “word of God”, which is actually the word of man, which is still being used as a tool to control people. If I sit on my back porch and smoke a joint, so fucking what? Where’s the harm? There is none. I’m not bothering anyone, so fuck off. Someone really, really needs to make those jackoffs aware of the study that shows people live significantly longer lives when they mind their own fucking business. I feel for y’all, that’s some terrible bullshit to deal with. Oh, offer still stands. HMU.
  21. All this concrete cancer talk is reaffirming in my mind that fiberglass will be for me, once I build (and if I still want a pool.) I was already on the fiberglass train, but this just solidifies that choice. I see the differences, main one being completely free-form, but honestly I'm not after anything out of the ordinary. A rectangle with a spa and splash pad on the side are fine for me. May be a bit much, honestly. Add in differences in frequency and cost of resurfacing, and for me it was a no-brainer. I'm looking to put it in an enclosure off the back of the house, with UV tinted glass, so maybe that would change the lifespan of the surface? Anyone having these issues thinking about changing it up?
  22. Watched it earlier this afternoon, after seeing your post. Holy shit you weren't kidding. Great episode, but damn... everything about it absolutely sucks ass.
