  2. A road trip with Brisketexan less than a month before the election. Please shoot me.
  3. have the chest hairs been plucked out of the inside of the shirt?
  4. I do feel bad. I ate too much cheese.
  5. IMO Dziuks is too cheesy.
  6. I think I had Kris on my list every year until this year. I decided to go only with celebrities who shared names with other celebrities so I could get two for 1. Hasn't worked.
  7. Before you mentioned them, I was going to say they have better Parisa than Dzuiks, and they are in San Antonio. I would put Tri-County, then Country Mart in D'Hanis, then Alvarez, then Dzuiks. Silver Creek in Hondo has some but can't remember if I've had theirs. I do like that place though.
  8. When you sign a contract with these cupcakes for early season games, you write this in the contract... "For your $1.5 million, you have to be ok with us running our normal offense late in the game when we are up by 50 points as a tune-up for our real opponents."
  9. I like that Sark has discarded his love for the deep ball with Ewers. We don’t need it. He tried one after we were in control this game and I don’t remember one last week. Keep using Ewers strengths.
  10. just plugged this request into Bing AI Chat and this is what it gave me. You Sent by you: can you write a letter written by a Texas A&M football fan pretending to be written by a Notre Dame fan who went to the game saturday in College Station saying how great aggie fans are and what a great time they had. Sent by Copilot: Sure, here’s a letter from a “Notre Dame fan” who attended the game at College Station: Dear Aggie Fans, I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible experience I had at the game this past Saturday in College Station. As a Notre Dame fan, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was absolutely blown away by the hospitality and warmth of the Aggie community. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms. The tailgating scene was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced – the food, the camaraderie, and the spirit of the fans were truly something special. It was clear that Aggie fans are not just passionate about their team, but also about making visitors feel at home. During the game, the energy in Kyle Field was electric. The Aggie fans’ enthusiasm and support for their team were contagious, and I found myself cheering along with them. The traditions, the yells, and the unity of the 12th Man were awe-inspiring. It was a privilege to witness such a display of school spirit and dedication. Even after the game, the kindness of the Aggie fans continued. Whether it was a friendly conversation or a simple gesture of goodwill, every interaction left a positive impression. It’s not often that you leave an opposing team’s stadium feeling like you’ve made new friends, but that’s exactly how I felt. Thank you, Aggie fans, for showing me what true sportsmanship and hospitality look like. You have set a high standard for what it means to be a fan, and I will always remember my time in College Station with fondness. I look forward to the next time our paths cross, and I hope to return the favor when you visit us in South Bend. Gig 'em and Go Irish! Sincerely, [Your Name] Notre Dame Fan I hope this captures the spirit you were looking for! If you need any adjustments, feel free to let me know.
  11. You have my fuckin bra.
  12. Rode in a car from Vegas to the USC Rose Bowl with Loopy driving. He was the most careful driver ever. Figured it had to do with keeping his record clean for his job.
  13. that letting them score so we get the ball back doesn't work when there are 8 seconds left.
  14. That run on 1st was genius. I don't know what that run on 2nd was.
  15. finding i still have no problem rooting against teams because they are in the sec.
  16. Good to put a face to the kids who will be suspending me in 2040.
  17. Imagine marketing some flights as "thriller rides". Kind of like amusement park rides. They make sure they hit turbulence. Do some steep banks. Drop 1000 feet in 2 seconds. Go down to within 400 ft of the water. These flights would sell out.
  18. I am willing to bet that these Catalans protesting like to go off on their holidays to other countries.
  19. I am a big proponent of the slow travel lifestyle (travel and stay in places for at least a month). I realize it isn't for everybody, but 3 years in and I don't see us leaving the lifestyle anytime soon.
  20. It is possible that he hadn't heard from his mom in an hour and was upset.
  21. We did a month in Italy. Orvieto was one of my favorite places we went. We only stayed there 1 night. We were in the area to check out Civita di Bagnoregio, a little hill town accessible only by a walking bridge (or scooter). We would like to go back to Orvieto along with Lucca. We only spent a few hours in Lucca, getting off a train going towards Cinque Terra. It was a cool town. IMO both places are better than Siena.
  22. Schloss had him bunt with 1 out, not 2 outs. The play worked. Chestnut got on base and ended up scoring. I am not sure what her problem was with that play. I imagine all of the aggy fans were ecstatic being able to manufacture a run for a 1-1 tie.
  23. Just spent 6 months on the windward side (east) of Oahu, but did spend 2 months on the North Shore a couple years ago. Paalaa Kai Mini-Mart - They have some quick food ready to go. Love their Spicy Shrimp Rolls. Plenty of shrimp inside and plenty of sauce where they are not dry. Also tried their fried oysters that had this great mustard sauce that went with it. Waialua General Store - Good poke and once a week they cook a steak plate in their parking lot that is very good. Foodland - If you just want some reasonable poke its very good. Typically I would get the Maui Onion. Ted's Bakery - I thought they had the best Garlic Shrimp. Big plump shrimp. Their Chicken Katsu is also good. Haleiwa Joes' - Have only been to their Kaneohe location. Their prime rib is good. It is big enough for two. Their other stuff is meh. Their other steaks are horrible if you are there too late for the prime rib. Duke's - A must go. We went the last week we were there. Prime Rib was great. Pasta special was great. Everything was great. Great atmosphere. Hula Grill - Same owner as Duke's I believe, it is right above it. Leonard's - Malasadas (Portuguese donuts) Their main location usually has a long line. We go to one of their truck's around. I like their cinnamon sugar ones with no filling. Ulalani's Shave Ice - I am not a snow cone guy but this is really good. There is one with long lines on North Shore called Matsumoto, but I found it wasn't worth going to. Mountain Magic Shave Ice - probably as good as Ulalani's I love Loco Mocos, probably had them at 7 or 8 different places. None of them really stood out as on another level. You can't really go wrong ordering on a menu. Beaches are cool on North Shore to sit and watch surfers and a sunset. Sunset Beach, Ehukai (Pipeline). But we used to go to Aweoweo Beach Park every afternoon just to relax and get in the water. It doesn't have the big waves coming in and you can do a little snorkeling if you want. Not a whole lot of people. Kailua Beach on the windward side is probably my favorite beach to just enjoy the beauty and relax, get in the water, other scenery.
  24. So far this has been VERY telling. Schloss has said zero about aggie fans. Typically a coach would talk about how great the fans were at the previous school. He intentionally left them out.
  25. This might turn into a Seinfeld show.
