  1. I have the same question. As of last Thursday, HHS had been notified of 2,263 reported positive cases in child care facilities. 1,528 staff and 735 children. I haven’t seen this week's numbers.

    GLORIA

On July 23-24, 1999, exactly 21 years ago tonight, Liberty Lunch shut down with Gloria-thon. 24 hours straight of G-L-O-R-I-A. https://www.texasmonthly.com/the-culture/g-l-o-r-i-a/amp/
  3. Is your thermostat still showing weird temperature readings? The other thing to check is to make sure that your AC drain line isn’t clogged. If it’s clogged and water backs up near your evaporator coil, it can cause parts of your system to shut down.
  4. You can swap the capacitor yourself. It’s usually located under a panel attached by screws on the outside unit. Once you find the capacitor, you’ll need to find a local AC repair store that sells to the public. Many of them only sell to licensed repair guys. Call first to make sure they have the part and will sell it to you.
  5. I’m a big Television fan, and they were before my time too. Don’t know how old you are and misread your post, thought you meant you actually saw them. Sorry for the derail.
  6. I’d like to hear about seeing Television. Details please.
  7. The Squier Vintage Modified was discontinued last year as the Classic Vibe line was expanded. If you want a specific VM bass, your best bet is finding a used one. If you want a new bass, Sweetwater shows 23 different Classic Vibe basses to choose from. I like most of the 60s models, some of the 50s. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/search.php?s=squier+classic+vibe+bass I don’t currently own any Classic Vibes, but I think I’ve owned three of the CV basses in the past and all of them were great basses for the money.
  8. SIAP Should be happening soon.
  9. How does this bass sound? And while we’re discussing straps, that is the perfect strap for this guitar. And a little known fact: The voice of Jem was performed by Britta Phillips, who is the bass player for Luna.
  10. Strap pr0n is better than no pr0n.
  11. This Mother Jones article from a couple days ago has a good bit of info on Trump’s current and past loans with Deutsche and Ladder Capital. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2020/06/donald-trump-loans-deutsche-bank/
  12. He hasn’t endorsed her (yet), but he does frequently “like” her tweets including the one announcing the Leffingwell endorsement and this recent one here... Morrow’s Twitter is an interesting mix of conspiracy theories (Trump-Clinton-Epstein pedo ring!) and soft core porn with a little bit of libertarianism sprinkled in. I’ve wondered if this is a parody account, but I think it’s actually Morrow. Here’s a tweet from this evening.
  13. Looks like the Austin Monitor called Leffingwell and asked him if it was true. https://www.austinmonitor.com/stories/whispers/leffingwell-endorses-flannigan-opponent-kelly/ “I was asked to endorse her,” Leffingwell said, by “some police friends of mine, retired policemen. I’ve always been a supporter of police and full funding of the police. I’ve got to support the candidate who supports the APD.” Leffingwell, who now lives in Hays County, said he is concerned about the possibility of a “massive cut” to the police department and thinks City Council is on a “dangerous path.” Kelly said, “I believe without the necessary funding we’re not going to be able to change (APD) for the better …. Our city won’t be as safe.”
  14. I got to meet Crazy Ray back in the 90s when he made an appearance at a facility for delinquent youth that my dad ran. Super nice guy. He gave me a whistle like the one that he used at games. It was a little piece of gray vinyl with a piece of clear plastic on one edge. You put it on your tongue and when you blew out air, it made the whistling noise just like Crazy Ray. I wore that thing out. Hits close to home...
  15. Pic of our new bass as requested. It’s a 2005 CIJ ‘62 reissue. It’s been a few years since I had a bass with flats. I liked them a lot, but at the time I also had a second bass with round wounds. I really like the fit and feel of this new bass, and I’m already thinking of selling my other long scale. But maybe having two long scales is the answer. And yeah, I’m not interested in swapping flats and rounds on this bass. I’m gonna be taking it to my luthier to get a new nut, so I want to have it setup with new strings and then not have to mess with it for a while. Flat wounds last forever too, which is another reason I’m tempted to go with them on this bass. I think I’m gonna have this one for a while.
  16. Anybody here play a P-bass with flat wound strings? If so, I’d like to hear your thoughts. Specifically, does a P-bass with flat wounds cover all your bases or do you still feel the need to have another bass with round wound strings on it?
  17. The Beverly MA local paper has an article with some interesting details. https://patch.com/massachusetts/beverly/amp/28831354/jeffrey-epsteins-companion-arrested-in-nh-has-north-shore-ties “Maxwell had been seen in Paris as recently as late last month. It's not clear why she has spent time in the United States as the criminal case was being built against her, given her means to go to countries that would not extradite her. Maxwell's arrest comes a day after a yacht owned by Alexander Mashkevitch, a Russian businessman and Jewish philanthropist with close ties to political leaders in Kazakhstan, was spotted in Beverly Harbor. In 2010, Turkish police seized another one of his yachts on suspicion that it had been used to host a sex party with nine young women, including two underage girls, for Kazakh businessmen. Mashkevich was not charged. It's not clear if Mashkevitch was on board the yacht in Beverly Harbor, which departed Wednesday, or if there is any connection to Maxwell's arrest.”
  18. May not matter if there’s not a season, but I just read that sophomore QB Chris Parson transferred from Duncanville to Red Oak. Parson was Ja’Quinden’s backup last season and started in the state championship game against North Shore after JJ was injured in the semis. He was expected to be Duncanville’s QB this season. https://www.waxahachietx.com/news/20200626/red-oak-gains-soph-transfer-qb?template=ampart
  19. John lives, Paul dies. George lives, Ringo dies.
  20. According to NYT... President Trump is scheduled to attend two events in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday: at 7 p.m. Eastern time, he will deliver brief remarks at what the White House called a “Great American Comeback Celebration” event, and then he will attend a rally inside the BOK Center scheduled for 8 p.m.

    Bob Seger

Oh hell yes. I love me some Bob Seger. Still the Same is my jam.
  23. I think the Albert Lee looks cool as hell. I was tempted to pick up a used Sterling HH model in Daphne Blue that was on CL a few months ago for like $250. I haven’t played a real EBMM one, but I’d like to try one sometime. Since we’re posting funky shaped guitars, I figured now was a good time to post mine. I posted this guitar on TOS, but don’t think I’ve posted it here. It’s a Phantom Phantele that my GF got me for my birthday a few years ago. Based on the Vox Phantom, but with Tele type parts.
  24. I agree with this. I was posting the link just to show that it is real, legitimate data and explaining why the number of Cuban adoptions is so low. But I agree that Nestor likely wouldn’t show up in that data anyways. Perhaps because he was adopted after he got here. Or, as has been mentioned, because he wasn’t actually “adopted” by Gaetz.
