  1. Agree with the above - Kim's made her bed. She tried. I mean I fell sorry for the old buy, but a contract is a contract - it sucks, but ... of course, Kevin is being a real horse's ass. "Pride goeth before the fall" he's about the figure out. Guessing he bought actual art with Mesa money?!?
  2. You can take the Klan out of the party (RIP Grand Wizard/Democrat Majority Leader Byrd) but you can't take the party out of the Klan: https://www.dallasnews.com/news/politics/2020/03/06/democrats-sue-to-try-to-halt-the-end-of-straight-ticket-voting-in-texas-general-election/
  3. Any evidence we've reached full Idiocracy - porn stars more concerned with catching a cold than dying of the AIDS.
  4. What were the financial impacts when SXSW was cancelled due to SARS, bird flu, swine flue, HER? Guessing it's gotten bigger, so has to be a bigger impact, eh?
  5. LOL - I watched this over the weekend. I guess it popped on AMC, and I had listened to a couple of True Crime podcasts about the true story. The actual story is pretty unbelievable and tragic - the movie makes light of horrific crimes, but it is so ridiculous it's pretty entertaining. Continually to be impressed by The Rock's acting. I am no movie critic, and I don't think acting is some kind of great accomplishment, so apologies to the Marlon Brando crowd ... but ole Dwayne can do action, comedy, dumbass pretty convincingly.
  6. Going next week ... hoping everyone stays away so we can have shorter lines.
  7. Agreed. The cartel stuff is much more interesting. Sometimes it almost feels like there is a Venn Diagram of Kim's story, the cartel, and Jimmy / Saul is just the overlap to keep them somehow connected.
  8. Is Juicy Smalls a guest star on that new Austin:911!
  9. The best VG mindfuck would be a flashback next season of Saul leaving Kim in a rush and heading to the vacuum store - the end is Gene saying “fuck it” and going back to the ABQ and Kim.
  10. I've been swamped at work, so I'll admit I have not been super current on this one. It is not obvious to me how this is significantly different than SARS, bird flu, mad cow, or influenza. Does not seem like people are dying in the streets. And <nocloakroom> in two years of record fake news, it is hard to really glean how much is manufactured panic / uncertainty. </nocloarkroom> But I admit I'm not spending 10 hours a day reading up on it, so you hard core crazies feel free to call me names if it makes you feel better. To your point, I do wonder if it will cause some foreign companies to rethink a strategy of 100% Chinese manufacturing. Again - little I've heard on the radio here and there - does not feel like it earns a gold star on transparency or containment. Heck, it would not shock me if this is the commie bastards testing the world's response as it relates to a long-term biological weapons strategy. To the OP - I might snag a few extra snacks here and there, but as far as the big one - don't really want to survive Armageddon.
  11. I was thinking the other day ... I am sort of getting streaming fatigue ... maybe I should patent this idea, but it would be awesome if someone could consolidate all of these streaming services into a single bill / interface.
  12. Related to cord cutting, but I wonder too if people have become so used to binging that weekly shows are tough to follow (think Mandalorian did really well IIRC, but guessing tougher to follow weekly show on network TV).
  13. Captain Obvious - how can Rouge One, The Mandalorian, even Solo be awesome and these all stink? <bullettohead>
  14. I definitely should have re-watched the first season of BB. So much I have forgotten pre-Fring.
  15. Great episode. Love Lalo and Nacho - would been good in BB.

Tonight's episode another 20' of content stretched to an hour ... I'll see it through to the end just to see if they share the name of the informant. Probably one of Uncle Jerry's exes or that crazy Dwight Baker sister-in-law.
  17. Agreed. There were some great individual episodes, but in terms of the story, kind of killed it for me. Hoping the books with the extra Targ kid, etc., will be better. I would rather have Hodor on the melted throne than Bran.

Agreed. Definitely can start to taste the filler in the McNuggets.

Right? It seems like fiction because everyone is a stereotype. I'm kind of getting bored and fatigued ... need to move along little doggie. I mean the guys from South Carolina were just not that interesting, and I really don't care about the wops' relationship woes ... but, I mean you could not have scripted the idiot sister-in-law taking the money and running or the idiot wife not hanging up her phone.
  20. "Tickling the wire." That's the only thing that makes sense ... but he could be a bounty hunter doing the same, but of course would not have the resources for wire tapping, etc., but maybe thinking Gene meets live. Does feel a little contrived - seems like a bounty hunter would take him in, and the feds would just tap / surveil and nab. It would not surprise me if it is a genuine mistake and Gene ends up killing him and it turns out he's just a idiot cab driver. Guessing Jimmy is tired of being Gene and ready to be Saul ... he's never been one to hide and take it.
  21. Avery and Dassey been freed yet? Chuckle.
  22. I have not seen Adnan doing many publicity stops since he got out of prison. What gives?
