  1. I don't how this gif hasn't been posted yet. What is wrong with y'all?
  2. I don't know how you could possibly say that given that if the rules were upheld Hamilton wins...again
  3. Interesting, very interesting. If we accurately categorize Tennessee as a major program like they historically are and categorize A&M as a minor program like they historically are, suddenly a pod with OU/Texas/Arky/aggy doesn't look so unbalanced.
  4. Uh...who cares if it selfish? Why does he expect loyalty from any football coach at all? Hell maybe I could see an expectation for one that is an alum, maaaaybe, but even then not really. Why the fuck would anyone expect loyalty to Texas A&M from a UPenn grad born and raised in New Jersey?
  5. 3:20 if you just want to see Sam at work and not the great lead up
  6. 3:20 if you just want to see Sam at work and not the great lead up
  7. Sark was OC for the finals, but not for that playoff game, yes. It was Lane Kiffin's offense when they played UW
  8. I am in San Diego, so very much not local, but would love to play on Tabletop Simulator or Tabletopia at some point. Maybe I will finally pay the tree fiddy and join surly discord...
  9. Damn I had no idea Surly had a board gaming thread. Definitely quite a few board games I love to play that I have trouble finding people to get a full game going with outside of events and the like. If anyone ever wants to play Terraforming Mars, Twilight Struggle, Tiny Epic Galaxies, or similar games, let me know. Would also love to try out games like Twilight Imperium or Dune: Imperium if anyone is down to play and willing to be at least a little patient with me learning the game (I do think I am generally a quick-ish learner). Also if anyone enjoys Diplomacy and wants to play I am ALWAYS happy to do so and would be more than happy to introduce those that aren't part of the greater hobby to it in all its forms (online, in-person face-to-face, and virtual face-to-face).
  10. The man keeps digging And then Danny buries the fool six feet under
  11. Wow. Expected them to part at the end of the season but now now...
  12. This. We get nationwide recalls on onions because salmonella kills ZERO people and makes like 600 people get the runs. Like how fucking stupid is this BUrntOrange4Life guy? Better be a T-Shirt fan or a masquerading aggie dumbass.
  13. States (as in the nation-state not California and Texas) wield extraordinary power. You can basically put so much pressure on people they either get the shot or are just excluded from the public square. Now I don't think we need to go that far, but making stuff like access to school or government employment is absolutely justifiable and with historic precedent.
  14. There is non-undercover proof that you're an idiot. Thank you for making it public to the entire internet browsing world.
  15. Damn that is a tragedy. I swear as early as two months ago I could show up any time of day I wanted and the line would be a couple people deep max. Damn TM having to make my life hard when I visit. But seriously though I'm so happy for L&L. They've been phenomenal and deserve the recognition
  16. TCU? Def not worth it imo. UT is for sure. Texas A&M is probably worth it if you're doing engineering and got rejected from UT. Imo the best heuristic is top Ivy/top Ivy adjacent private (and I mean actually top Ivy adjacent a la Stanford, Duke, MIT, or Johns Hopkins and not Georgetown (unless you're an SFSer I guess), Wake Forest, Case Western etc.) or public flagship university for your area or community college->cheap regional school. The fact of the matter is you can get a really, really good education at community college and at regional schools for like <10k a year in tuition. Unless the name is so good in your region or nationally while still being affordable (state flagship) or elite enough that price is irrelevant (HYMPS type schools), I just don't see a reason to not go to community college and then transfer to a good public school for your final two years.
  17. Damn if only we still had Strong Polynesian Ties...
