  1. 70-3 vs CU in the Big XII Championship game
  2. Maybe Kwiatkowski's scheme is a bad fit here and we should go with a true 4 down use DL to create plays type defense instead of using them to open up plays for the LB to clean up given how shitty our LBs are, but all of y'all arguing to fire Choate are fucking loony. Dude is an elite coach. Given the fact he got tossed Overshown and a pile of scraps and put out what he did is impressive. The room was so bad a walk-on was starting. Ford looks much improved and hopefully once Overshown is back, Ford will become the 2nd starting ILB with Overshown. Choate was good enough to take a bunch of JAGs at Montana State that went 4-7 his first year into the 4th best team in FCS after 4 years. Honestly with this defense I think we need to simply take time to let them develop and get people adjusted to the scheme. Only reason to get rid of Kwiat is if you want to change scheme. The DB room needs a reshuffle though. That shit is absolutely putrid no ifs, ands, or buts about it. That isn't a scheme issue. It isn't a talent issue. That's a why the fuck aren't players being coached right issue.
  3. Keeping Jaren Jackson Jr in the 8th and Chris Paul in the 6th
  4. That is where I am coming from on this too. Without the benefit of hindsight PK was objectively a monster get. I loved the pick up of Jeff Choate from Montana on similar levels. The hires I took an issue with were Milwee on offense (but w/e I'll let a offensive guy have his pet QB coach) and then Terry Joseph and Blake Gideon on the defensive side. Our DB coaching is straight trash. Watch how well from a technical perspective Iowa and Penn State's DBs played in terms of getting their heads turns and actually making plays on balls in the air. How often do you see our DBs get real PBUs on decently well thrown balls? Almost never. They need to be replaced. For LBs I am willing to give a mulligan given Overshown's incredible growth and the fact that after that talent leaves plenty to be desires (god what I would do for DGF to have never suffered that injury. DL I am willing to give an extra year because Bo Davis has been recruiting at a tremendous clip and I think the scheme hurts his particular unit. Should PK change his scheme to reflect the fact that our talent at positions he wants is garbage? Yeah, but I think firing him would be a overly reactionary choice that ends poorly for us. I still strongly believe, even after today, that TJ and BG are the only two coaches that deserve to be fired.
  5. Oh no, I agree. I think Vucevic could be to 10, Chris Paul could be around 20 and JJJ could be top 50. Some nice values. Probably will keep the latter two
  6. Thank you! I can see why I am replacing this guy jk jk there are some decent values to play with
  7. I can see 2022 just fine (just shows draft order) but when I try to go to 2021 it shows a blank page
  8. How do I tell who my eligible keepers are? I tried to go back to the league history and view the draft recap from last year but for some reason I just get a blank page when I access it.
  9. Is scoring 8-cat/9-cat or just points? I prefer cats but don't really care either way that much
  10. Dude was a special teams wizard.
  11. What the fuck was that formation lol. I formation D Line baby 🤣
  12. See you there. Hope to lower the average age of y'all at the tailgate significantly 😜 Hook'em!
  13. Happy to be a part of it with my 10bux a month 🤘🏽

    Steak

This. Making a good steak is fucking easy and you can source a better steak from elsewhere for cheaper than you'll get it at the restaurant because you don't need to pay for their rent, wages, and other miscellaneous fees. When I want to treat myself I go order a steak from Pacific Rogue Wagyu, pay $50 for a steak that is higher quality than any 16 oz steak you'll get from a steakhouse for under $80-100 after tax and tip and can prep it how I want and cook it how I want so that when all is said and done I am way happier with the end result than I would be at a steakhouse. The one exception is if they have foie gras, some amazing dessert, or some truly out of this world apps/sides. And when I say amazing, I mean like some creme de la creme type shit that could convince an atheist that such good shit would be impossible to find if God weren't real. Like I can make some great desserts myself, but that takes way more effort than just making a steak so I am willing to a pay a great pastry chef to do that for me. Sides are easier but still harder than steak, so hey if they got something better than I could ever hope to do I'll pay the dude to do it for me. But for steak? C'mon, that shit is easy.
  15. Lazarus is hit or miss. They have some very solid ones and then some meh ones
  16. I mean there's a reason he is no longer the president of Ohio State, a reasonably decent public university, and is instead the president of WVU, a school best known for their couch burning program.
  17. I mean to be fair he is crowd sourced because his political opinions are mongoloid tier (not a left/right thing, they're just stupid) I don't think he is actually sketch.
  18. Still haven't gotten an invite yet. Have you sent them out?
  19. Not from IT but basically in the view of the players I met they felt the administration had largely mismanaged the NIL process in terms of giving them real support. They felt they got given some powerpoint slides with rules, a couple do's and don't, and were told "you're free to go, now". They felt like UT should be doing a lot more to help them succeed with their branding and I tend to agree with them (personally I think it would be better if we paid lip service to the dog and pony show that is the NIL rules & regs and just dropped bags, but I have zero power and admittedly zero intent to do anything other than what my Burnt Ends Surly Overlords tell me to do). Thankfully it did seem like they felt/knew alumni aid would be coming soon no matter what so I doubt UT stays behind forever, but it does mean we all need to do the work since I doubt the university will do it for us.
  20. Good to hear. Met up with a couple of players at a bar and the NIL failures are bigger than I imagined, so the quicker we can fix it whether it be through the AD or around them, the better.
