  1. Go on with this....who are these incompetent, weak people pandering to the most?
  2. It's kind of his point tho...
  3. Is that more than 6 figs? DJ is also on Cam's podcast lol
  4. But what if the department was called Super Efficient Xcellence!
  5. You do realize that it cannot be a term used on those websites but still be used as a campaign negative that can be pushed by the other party, right?
  6. Unfrotunately not in Miami, those are Cubans.
  7. SIAP: Bobby Burton Well, Texas took another three star recruit on Friday. Austin Anderson defensive back Yaheim Riley is not among the top 100 players in the country by any service. Even more, he’s not even ranked among the top 100 players in the state by at least one. So what in the world are Steve Sarkisian and Brandon Harris thinking? I mean, Texas should only be going after four and five stars. Right? Wrong. Just ask Cam Williams, Cole Hutson and Ethan Burke from the 2022 recruiting class. Or ask Tre Wisner and Trevor Goosby from the 2023 class. How would this Longhorn roster look without Alex January, Parker Livingstone, Ty’Anthony Smith, Nate Kibble and others from the 2024 class? Heck, even ask three more NFL draft picks from the class of 2021 - Hayden Connor, Gunnar Helm and Barryn Sorrell. Facts are, “stars” mean little these days when it comes to Texas football. What matters most is a) the eye for talent that Sark and his staff seem to have and b) the development they bestow on the recruits once they arrive on campus. Look, I was one of the inventors of the star-based ranking system. Literally. I was in the room when we decided to go with “stars” instead of “chips” or “diamonds”. I am well aware of the statistical probability that they result in. But I have long held that 3 star prospects who sign with elite programs, programs like Texas, Ohio State, Georgia, etc., also have a disproportionate chance of making the NFL than 3 stars that sign elsewhere. Why? Because certain programs get more of the players they want, no matter where a player is ranked. Sure, there are “hits” and “misses” of three stars. But the exact same could be said for four and five stars. I feel more confident than ever when Texas adds a three stars recruit. Maybe star chasers will disagree. But to them, I say look at Sark’s track record at Texas. And look at Yaheim Riley’s film. If Riley is a three star, then give me all of those I can get. In addition to our 3 stars they posted some recent class examples from other programs in terms of 3 stars....obviously this will vary by year.
  8. What's scary about this possibility is that the next guy could be like him but smarter and go about things in a more intelligent way that won't get struck down....
  9. It's not just latinX for decades the far far left has been ostracizing men and you're finally seeing it in the votes. Democrats HAVE to reel this in moving forward as the 18-45 age group is the most populus block of voters for the next 40-50 years. Boomers run is almost over. Oh and that NPR excerpt is from swing state voting, you know the states you HAVE to win to win.
  10. Everything has been laid out in this thread already and Linux points to it. You refuse to acknowledge it and you see people talk about their kids experiences in real time. Reposting for you from NPR 15% IS MASSIVE and also lost young women vote.
  11. It only took people 4 years to forget, but here is to hoping!
  12. FAAAAAMUUUUGGGGGHHHHHLEEEEEEEEEEEEE
  13. Just assume everyone has a podcast these days haha.
  14. The left wing version of right wing culture noise bullshit is way worse and alienates a much larger audience. That's why left is losing younger vote at a bad pace. Both sides are alienating groups of people but the group of people being alienated by the rights version is much smaller where as the left's version is alienating a much much larger marginalized group. I said earlier in this thread the left needs to ease back on some of that stuff so they can win and take all house, senate, presidency. If you don't do that you can't protect the people you campaign to protect....and once they get all 3 they need to actually put forth permanent laws to protect these people.
  15. It's actually insane how effective GOP messaging is as a whole where they are now painting and it's working the democratic party as the elitist party. It's equally insane that the left is so fucking dumfounded how the landscape looks now days.
  16. Someone should make a bracket for this...would be a good offseason thread. Use current CFP format with 12 teams and have top 4 most punchable faces with a bye then round out the bracket. Would it be active in CFB or all time? I'd lean more to active.
  17. Dabo is from small town Bama, I don't think its fake.
  18. same coin, different sides
  19. Cheryl Miller had the best idea for all-star weekend for the W and that is a 3 point shootout between Clark and Sabrina.
  20. I know Aja deserves to have her signature shoe but good lord Nike not rolling out a signature shoe last year for Clark was beyond stupid from them.
  21. Bobby Burton The Texas One Fund held its annual fundraiser last night with dignitaries across the Longhorn spectrum in attendance. From coaches, to players, to administrators and ardent supporters and even celebrities, like Joe Rogan, it was an event to behold. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Leon Bridges and Parker McCollum were the musical guests. Held at DKR, guests were seated on the football field. It also included both live and silent auctions of donated prizes. There were trips with the various teams, wild game hunting excursions, a film viewing with Matthew McConaghey and Richard Linklater, and much, much more. The proceeds of the auction benefit the Texas One Fund, the NIL arm of the university. And the numbers were somewhat staggering, reaching well into the 7-figures. In sum, the event, designed to garner NIL support for Texas athletics, achieved its goal and then some.
