  1. Shaun had a little more wiggle and was little shiftier. DH is stronger, faster and more durable. The one knock on both was their first step was/is slow, as both were/are big guys, Shaun a little wider, DH a little taller. I assume you went to school with Dustin McClintock. I think he held or may still hold the Alabama record for most consecutive starts(back when they still used a FB).
  2. I don't quantify it by raw numbers alone, I go off of pure talent. Sometimes a great can be stuck in a bad situation or behind an incumbent starter. Barry, then Bo and Herschel are really the three best pure RBs in cfb history, in my mind. Ricky is right there knocking on the door of the top 3. Derrick Henry now owns the SEC single season rushing record, note I did not put him up there with Bo or Herschel. He would come in around the borderline top 10 and I consider him to be the best RB Bama has ever had(just a hair ahead of Shaun Alexander). The thing that Barry and to a little lesser extent, Bo and Herschel had, was that backfield elusiveness to go along with being a physical beast. Very few have both.
  3. Rob is a health nut.
  4. No doubt in my mind, Barry is the GOAT RB in CFB history. I have Bo and Herschel as a toss up for 2nd and 3rd.
  5. I think they meant tOSU.
  6. WE WANT RICE!
  7. Also, last few days, when I click on a thread in any forum, then come back to the forum list of topics, whatever is the top thread, shows as read, even if I have never been in that thread.
  8. ^That is also how I read it.
  9. Just watched Three Billboards(off my DVR). Pretty good, maybe a 7/10.

I kind of like the show, as a laid back, turn your brain off respite. I may not be emotionally attached to the main character but I am emotionally attached to the main character's sister's boobs.
  11. I mean, this is an OK show but it falls far short of last year's limited series Big Little Lies, which is what I think this was supposed to recapture. Adams saw it and thought, hey, I can do that too but no, not quite. I would even put this behind The Night Of, which also was kinda disappointing. I would only put this above S2 of True Detective.
  12. Finally going to see Metallica live. They finally deigned to play in Birmigham, this century.
  13. She is small town hot, not Hollywood hot.
  14. Seen both, different concerts. Both groups do put on a good show. Saw Shinedown as the lead act with Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd, Sevendust and 10 Years. Saw Godsmack in an all day show, including Disturbed, Megadeath, Trivium and a few others I can't recall.
  15. Got this in an email today... http://events.alabamaathletics.com/nl/jsp/m.jsp?c=cab536c635b0c2eacd They need to fix Coleman first, Bryant-Denny is fine, as it is currently, make it part of the second round.
  16. I think that answers the question of whether she knew about Jimmy with the insurance folks. I doubt she goes nuclear on Howard, if she knew.
  17. I don't know if it is legit or not, just what several Huskie fans were saying on reddit.
  18. From all the scuttlebutt, seems UW requires 2 foreign language credits and Bama only requires one. The kid planned on taking the required course over the summer but then all the family drama popped off and he did not get it done in time. Hopefully that is not an indicator of laziness, for the kid's sake.
  19. Here is the actual statements by Saban, when asked directly about the kid. There is also this Seattle Times article that seems to back this up. https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/uw-husky-football/ex-uw-signee-ale-kaho-arrives-at-alabama-practices-for-first-time-with-crimson-tide/
  20. Saw STP, Bush and The Cult last night in Bham. STP seems to be doing good with the replacement lead singer, although they were a little less dynamic as the other two plus they got their set cut short by a thunderstorm moving through the venue. They probably had another 5 songs left to play. Bush was easily the highlight of the entire show, other than some thinning hair, Rossdale seems to have not aged at all. He even did an entire crowd walkthrough during one of their songs, even up in our cheap seats. Some slightly overweight(not Vic territory) chick nearly bowled me over, trying to get next to him. The Cult is still in good form. Seems like they are rotating the order they play, at each stop. They were in the orderI just recounted, last night. There was an actual opening act, one I had never even heard about but they seemed to be pretty good, sounded kinda like a Black Keys ripoff, called The Dirty Hooks.
  21. I had it on my record schedule until this year. It had gone downhill but now that two of the main characters are gone, I fully expect it to get even worse.
  22. I am glad I ignored your PMs now, never second guess a swipe left.
  23. I just thought you were hitting on me.
  24. The one I listed, it never seems to show up on the boob tube and I never was that inclined to go rent it. Have seen all of the ones that have been listed by others. I turned 47 today. My favorite movie is The Princess Bride.
