  1. Something, something, not even with anything that has been in South Austin's mom's vagina.
  2. DeSantis' Presidential campaign is all but over. And I am guessing this Category 4 Hurricane hitting Florida is going to be the nail in that coffin. His response will be spectacularly bad. Always fun to see these folks who hate socialism beg the federal government to come bail their asses out.
  3. Will be fun watching them cry for the Federal Government to bail their asses out.
  4. I offered that article without comment, but this is only the second time I have rooted for cancer. Scalise is a piece of shit of the first order.

  6. I drive to Portsmouth, NH because I take my dog. But if you are going to Portland, ME, Fly. That drive would be at least 6 hours. Traffic can make it longer.
  7. I did the Rockettes with friends...it was very meh. Not my thing at all, but might be something you and she would like to do. Runs about 90 minutes. On Broadway, I recommend Six (it is only 90 minutes) and &Juliet. Empowered female characters and great music. Great for a girl her age. Spamalot will also be doing a revival at that time, but I think you would enjoy that more than her. Definitely get tickets to Six. Maybe see what else you want to do before tying up your time with tons of shows, but if you want to fit in a second, &Juliet is the right answer. I am not an ice skater, but dealing with the crowds at Rockefeller is a beating (I walk through there to get to my office). Book as soon as you can. Also, you can also skate at Bryant Park (Definitely get hot chocolate at Angelina while at Bryant Park and browse at the winter village). If Christmas Markets are your thing, the Union Square one is massive, but it and Bryant Park have similar vendors. Definitely see the windows. Bergdorf, IMO, has the best. But Bloomingdale's and Saks are also relatively close. You can make it a walk. If it snows before Christmas (which it has once since I have lived here), then Central Park is a great place to go hang out. If Art is something you guys are into, the Met is always a good idea. https://www.metmuseum.org/exhibitions/upcoming Some good exhibits will be on in December. Probably tons more going on in December, but it is way too early to know about a lot of them. I am actually in London right before Christmas onboarding a new employee (and I am going to try and hit some Christmas markets the weekend before..thinking Cologne and Aachen).
  8. They are doing construction, so areas that are normally open are not open (I assume you mean the Lotte Palace). Usually, they have a massive Christmas Tree in the courtyard, but yeah. It is behind St. Patrick's, which is next door to Saks, so location is very, very good. The Peninsula is amazing at Christmas. Absolutely stunning. And the Plaza is always a good idea. Now, all those will be $$$$$ during Christmas, but definitely a memorable experience. And centrally located to experience everything you want. I love Edition hotels, and The Edition Times Square seems to not be so crazy expensive at the time you are thinking of coming up. The New York Edition is right at Madison Square Park, and is also a good bet, but more expensive.
  9. There are some really pretty areas in NJ. You just have to know where to look. It is really a shame that most people's impression of NJ is the fucking Neward airport. That said, life is too short to live in NJ or CT if you are single or have no kids. Even if you are close in (10-15 miles) from Midtown, you are looking at an hour to an hour and a half commute.
  10. I know lots of folks in Westport. If I had kids, that would be one of my top choices in the Tri-State area.
  11. Everything that comes out of Laszlo's mouth is fucking genius. Seriously.
  12. Just thought I would put all of fatty's cuntiness together. Stop arguing with him. He is useless.
  13. Well, I've had a long week this week. Started on Sunday with brunch at The Yellow Rose, then beers at McSorley's, wine at The Ten Bells, then dinner at Nom Wah. Had a colleague in town and made a day of it. Monday, we had dinner at Jupiter. After dinner, walked to grab the bus and popped by Bergdorf to see their windows. They have the best in the city. On Tuesday, we headed to Met Life to see Guns and Roses. The Pretenders opened, then Andrew Dice Clay did a 10 minute set, then G'n'R came on and played for 3 hours and 15 minutes. On Wednesday, it was drinks at The Dawson (cute bar near the office) then dinner at The Commerce Inn. Yesterday, it was drinks at The Dawson (again), a drink at the Knickerbocker rooftop, then Keens. I'm fucking beat.
