  1. Nothin’ fancy, just a pre-4th fish fry
  2. Pretty solid month, rock movies all month and celebrating the 75th anniv of Roswell with some sci-fi flicks later in the month. Jack Lemmon three-fer tonight with Some Like It Hot (I know they show the hell out of this one...), The Apartment and Irma La Douce. Followed by an Alex Cox double shot of Repo Man and Sid and Nancy early tomorrow morning.
  3. Haven't been here (yet), but a friend who lives outside of Hillsboro raves about this place, looks pretty damn good to me, in Woodbury. Harrell Burgers and More
  4. Any of you yay-hoos feel like sweating your balls off this weekend, my band is playing down at Krause's Cafe in New Braunfels on Sunday from 2-6. Lotsa Czech and German polkas, waltzes, some old school C&W (both kinds!), western swing, shit, we had a practice last night and wood-shedded "She's About a Mover", we'll throw that out there as well... Guaranteed to get your toes tapping and probably self-combust by about 5:30 or so...
  5. Sitting at Midwood Smokehouse in Charlotte right now before heading to the airport. It ain’t Texas bbq but it’s a’ight. Definitely get your money’s worth
  6. Have a copy of that on CD, great Westwood One broadcast, from their farewell tour (um hmm)
  7. Lost Colony Brewery Hatteras Irish Red kept extra cold with my official South of the Border koozie
  8. Wicked Weed Dr. Dank Diuble IPA with tangerine and passion fruit (11 hours on the road, I am thirsty!)
  9. 26 Acres Brewing Reptar Juice Hazy IPA, Lucky 12 Tavern, Nags Head NC
  10. My best friend and I did the same thing. He had an older sister that played keyboards in a band, and they would practice at his house, so there was a drum kit set up as well. We would "play" along to stuff like Magic by Pilot, The Boys are Back in Town, etc.. Pretty dorky now, but a lot of fun then.
  11. Love this group. That dorky old white guy on keyboards? He also wrote Off the Wall, Rock with You, Thriller, Stomp, Give Me the Night, Yah Mo B There and Sweet Freedom, among others...
  12. And a few Brits cashing in...
  13. Headed to the OBX in 10 days, will definitely stick to seafood.
  14. In honor of all those who gave their lives for our freedom, thank you. This is the story of my great-uncle Billy, who I never had the pleasure of meeting.
  15. "Hey Heidi, I know he sucks, but you should stop fucking other men." Guest Lobo was there?
  16. "Let's talk!"
  17. That is truly a csb
  18. No way, just someone looking for attention, disgusting
  19. Yep, and it didn't matter. To the rest of the outside world, they both came across as crazy and paranoid, mission accomplished.
  20. Everybody got pulled away from the side jobs (Jimmy, Mike's daughter-in-law) to go stand guard at Gus' house and the laundromat since they think Lalo is coming for Gus.
  21. For sure, Jimmy was saying "How?" to Lalo, not Howard. As one review I saw this morning said, he was looking at a ghost. Speaking of Lalo and what a psychopath he is, not specific to last night, but when he goes to the home of the couple and kills them so they can stage a body double, according to the writers, that was deliberate, in that the guy had been set up to be Lalo's double for years, christ!
  22. I didn't notice it at the time watching it, but did see it pointed out later by the guy I posted above.
