  1. True. My daughter's friend moved into a house a few neighborhoods over that was $3.8M. Would probably cost $1M in TX.
  2. Maybe it’s time to call an electrician. My bidet is in the guest bath right now since there’s a plug there. When I renovate my bathroom later this year, I’ll have the contractor install a plug in the crown room.
  3. Talking to my wife last night about the home values in our neighborhood. Me: Zillow said the should be between $1.9M - &2.1M. 9 YO on his iPad without missing a beat: Yeah, but what does Redfin say?
  4. My next for neighbors listed their house for $1.8M, which I thought was a tad low. I checked Zillow last night and the house was sold for $2M. Crazy.
  5. So long fried rice, hello fried chicken! [/Tiger] So many good quotes from the skit.
  6. TJ Maxx Home Goods on a Friday night is another target rich environment. Lots of sad divorcees without children. Good place to troll if you’re in slump.
  7. Laughing at the dog’s misfortune. What an ass.
  8. Maybe he installed Grammarly on his phone?
  9. So I take it she didn't pass.
  10. Should be on the trivial things that make you surly thread. But the misuse of apostrophes grind my gears.
  11. Watching skits by Mikey Day Matt Schatt
  12. I would like Tina Fey to be my second wife.
  13. Asian women who need a green card, and will leave you after she gets citizenship so she can bring over her real husband and 5 children. [/fact-ish]
  14. Based on the entries so far, most of you are old AF. I watched SNL in my early to mid 20s with Will Ferrell, Molly Shannon, Rachel Dratch, Tim Meadows, etc. I got I Need More Cowbell, Colonel Angus, The Continental. Classics in their own right But it seems like the I should have started earlier, except for the fact I wasn't living in the US at the time.
  15. My coworker, a sweet bumbling but really smart dude was diagnosed with throat cancer last year. He took some time off for treatment, came back for a few days a week, and took some more time off. I saw him yesterday. He had lost about 20 pounds, lost all his hair, and his face was scabbed up (anyone know why?) Anyway, he told me that he's fighting the battle, but lost the war. I asked him to expound, and he told me the cancer had spread through his lungs and back, any treatment now is just so he can spend more time with his wife, kids and grandkids. The company is planning a "Thank You" retirement party for him in June. I think he'll still be alive at that point, but who knows how long he'll be around.
  16. Alrighty... that was creepy and not funny at all. Who wants to see Pedro Pascal as an over-protective Hispanic mom?
  17. Cheap land, tax incentives and cheap electricity. Data centers, which are energy hogs, are also popping up in AZ. The fact that Phoenix (before semiconductors) grew made little sense. I thought it was a place for snowbirds who needed healthcare, which needed infrastructure, which needed people, which needed commerce, and it just spiraled up from there.
  18. Have you seen the latest Ryan Gosling one?
  19. There's a Korean friend chicken place that has boneless wings. They are actually deboned wings. But they are dry AF even drenched in sauce. WNE again.
  20. I've been watching old / recent SNL skits and found a few gems. Thought we could share of of our favorites.
  21. Son to daughter gong back and forth about something or other. Son to daughter: I’d roast you right now, but mommy told me not to burn trash.
  22. I see nothing wrong with this. Both are great actors and I celebrate their entire catalog.
  23. Conan and Jordan Schlansky are such a great pair.
