  1. A Baker’s cyst is just a buildup of fluid in the knee that bulges out a weak point in the joint capsule. Anything you can do to reduce the inflammation will indirectly help with the cyst. Rest, NSAIDs, etc. Draining it will only deflate the balloon; it will build back up if the irritation persists. A surgical fix of any underlying mechanical issue (scope for a meniscus tear, for example) would be a better long term solution. Losing weight will reduce wear and tear long term, but exercising to lose weight could make it worse short term. As a fellow giant-ass, I feel your pain here. Pool activities can minimize the aggravation versus dry land stuff. Best of luck!
  2. They announced a Nashville location months ago, but construction hadn’t started when I drove by recently. Thanks a lot COVID…
  3. Neg worthy, but instead I will merely beg to differ.
  4. No matter how hot the girl is, there’s always someone out there who is tired of her bullshit. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
  5. Well played!
  6. Who needs alcohol when you have meth?
  7. When else are you going to be there besides game day? They didn’t get the tag line that they redshirt Miss America’s at Ole Miss by chance…
  8. I thought that was the “Pep Boys”
  9. Assuming you aren’t full of shit (and I don’t think you are, because the idea sounds gloriously Shaggy/Surly-esque), is this documented anywhere on the inter webs?
  10. We did a big family inside passage Alaskan cruise from Vancouver to Seward AK on Celebrity a few years ago. Spectacular scenery that would be difficult to see any other way. Port stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, Hoonah and Skagway. I would actually consider doing that again someday, but the idea of a traditional Caribbean cruise makes me wretch.
  11. I started to ask if there was a difference any more, but Spirit makes American look like flying charter
  12. As the father of 16 and 14 year olds, I can vouch for this statement.
  13. I was just about to post this: https://buffalonews.com/news/state-and-regional/buffalo-bills-want-a-new-stadium-and-for-taxpayers-to-foot-the-bill/article_dc794aea-f14a-11eb-a5ae-17fdaa70c27c.html Heard it on Fox Sports Radio, and couldn’t believe there wasn’t already something on Surly. Likely just Sabre rattling (see what I did there), but you never know…
  14. Gottlieb is a prime example of letting your heartstrings block your view of objectivity. Either that, or he’s a moron.
  15. I see no dicks. Is it like finding Bert?
  16. It is a shame that such an epic artistic talent is being squandered in the trivial practice of jurisprudence.
  17. What a moron. I’m sure there are rivalries out there I’m not familiar with, but anyone who gets paid to talk sports for a living that doesn’t know the RRS is a storied rivalry should be shown the door.
  18. … and so it begins
  19. Once ESPN owns all the SEC TV rights, I will be curious if they will choose to put the game that they suspect will pull in the most viewers in the 2:30 slot or prime time? If the latter, I’m sure the 2:30 will get the second best matchup that week.
  20. Bless your heart.
  21. I reckon it’d be quite a tussle. Learn with Gern!
  22. With conference mates like you, no wonder they want out.
  23. That’s French.
  24. What is the Latin word for astronaut?
  25. I interpreted it as a metaphorical Big 12 is ass, my dude. But, that’s the beauty of interpretation of fine art. If could go so many ways.
