  1. Yeah, I don’t really care about shitting on kids unless you’re willing to tell us what’s the cause for “character” issues. Evan Stewart seems like a little bitch based on his most recent videos but he doesn’t have “character” issues from what I’ve seen. Now guys like Demond Demas and Joshua Moore 100% have issues. I haven’t seen Jalen Hale break any laws or get kicked off his team. Seems like every school is still recruiting him. Aggy is the only fan base labeling him as character issues and we know why. I will say, lots of other fanbases said Xavier Worthy and Jayden Blue had “character” problems during their recruitments and would be team cancers. One is considered a team leader now and the other one has put his head down and worked since he enrolled and is expected to be a contributor. These 16 year olds are now under a microscope with social media. They are going to make mistakes and do stupid shit like most teenagers. If they are breaking laws, then fair game… otherwise we just look like aggy.
  2. Watts is pretty massive for a CB. He’s bigger than our safeties. In fact, Michael Griffin was laughing on LHN when they were calling him a corner.
  3. This class isn’t bread lol. Bread is Max Merril… Flood has been after Stroh since before we had Kelvin Banks, DJ Dampbell, and Cam Williams committed. Sam Pittman knows a thing or two about OL as well and was after Stroh early as well. I expect he’s going to continue to lose weight once he stops powerlifting. Cam Williams showing up in better shape and showing early signs of being a player is only going to reinforce the type of players Flood wants. Andre Cojoe is like 15 years old and will be 16 turning 17 when he enrolls. He is 6’6 and 330lbs and moves like he is 270 lbs. The guy that trains him also trains DJ Campbell. He said Cojoe did a private work out with Flood and Flood saw his size and athleticism and offered. He also said that he’s competing with guys older than him. He will definitely need time to develop due to his age but he is much further along and would be much more highly rated if he was classified with players in his age group. Same guy trains Gooseby and said Gooseby is a basketball kid that is learning to play OL. He’s just now filling his body and apparently grew like 3 inches and 40 lbs in the last year and he’s not done. He has athleticism most OL don’t. So if there is anything you want to take from this, I expect Flood to go after huge guys and guys that are very athletic. You can teach kids to block, you can’t teach size and speed. This is going to be a top 3 class. Nothing about this class is “bready” outside of Will Randle and everyone knows why he has the offer list he has.
  4. Sugar bowl 2018 in my opinion given the recent decade of failures. We went from. 6-7 win team to playing in the big 12 championship and beating two top 10 teams in ou and UGA. I think we’re more likely to go 10-2 than 6-7 wins. If this staff can’t beat the teams in this league with all the coaching turnover with a “generational” QB, 2-3 NFL WRs, 2 NFL RBs (one who is a Heisman candidate) and a 5 star TE…. Then I’m not sure what else this program can do to be competitive. Gary Patterson helping on defense should be huge as well.
  5. At this point, I really have no desire to speak or be friends with anyone that supports this shit, family or not. There needs to be regulations on guns. You don’t need ARs for hunting or to protect yourself. Allow hunting rifles and handguns and limit how many a person can buy. Must go through a year of courses and must carry insurance. Must need to take continuing education every 2 years to maintain weapon license. I’m a healthcare professional and what I do would never even remotely kill a person. Yet I had to go through school for 8 years, had to take multiple board tests, am required to hold insurance and take 12 hours of CE a year to maintain my license. Yet an 18 year can go buy a deadly weapon that can take lives with no requirements. The fuck is wrong with this country and why the fuck won’t reasonable and responsible gun owners hold their politicians accountable? Especially those with kids.
  6. Malik had a solid year his junior season along with Gary Johnson. That defense was actually pretty good. Did he get drafted in the 3rd or 5th? I won’t say he was a waste of talent but I don’t think he lived up to his 5 star hype whether it was injuries or scheme. Either way, I’d kill for a LB with his talent on this team.
  7. Looks like the staff is probably going to reset their board bc it seems like we’re getting a lot of elite guys giving us a look right now and if we can even remotely be competitive this year, this could end up becoming the #1 ranked class. With that in mind, seems like a lot of guys that we were willing to try the position of their choice are now being told that you either commit to the position we want you or you don’t have a spot. Seems like that may be playing out with Zelance Heard and MHP. We’re going to cherry pick our WRs this year why waste a scholarships. Guys like Duce Robinson, Caleb Downs, the DT from Mississippi, now want to visit.
  8. In all fairness, I probably wouldn’t want to be trucked by RoJo either…
  9. 5 star Safety! DBU bitches!
  10. Let’s fucking go! Better hop on the Arch train before spots run out even though numbers don’t matter. LETS FUCKING GO!
  11. I wouldn’t look at the site rankings for OL evaluations. It’s probably the position they hit on the least as far as rankings. Chatman is an elite level prospect and one of the top players on our board. Ou, LSU, aggy, Bama are all recruiting him. He’s a guy that you can expect to contribute year 1 and to compete with the elite guys last year. Last years haul was once in a generation type of class. Bama might be the only school to have multiple 5 star and 4 star guys in one class. You’ll be disappointed every year if you are expecting this. If it makes you feel better, Flood offered Stroh and Cojoe first and has been on them from the start. Flood is regarded one of the best OL evaluators and developers along with Cristobal and Sam Pittman. Stroh is a massive kid and a power lifter. He’s going to shed a lot of the weight off once he reshapes his body from being a power lifter. If he hits, he’s a mammoth. All Ojomo jokes aside, Cojoe is going to be 16 when he enrolls in December. He’s 6’6 and 330 lbs with an 86 inch wingspan. He’s probably a high level prospect in the 2023 class but he’s competing with guys older than him. He will have 2 years of college S&C and nutrition by the time he is 18-19 years old. You know how you build depth? You take players with measurable, stash them away for 2-3 years, and then plug them in when your starting OL graduate and leave for the draft. I don’t know much about Gooseby. I know aggy was recruiting him along with other regional schools.
  12. You must have been born after the Mack Brown days. I remember we got something ridiculous like 15-17 commitments over Jr day one year.
  13. Fuck, I keep trying to go to bed…. And now Baxter is hitting us with ellipses.
  14. Arch is about to lock down this entire recruiting class.
  15. He’s a massive kid. Flood has been on him from the start. He seems like a great program guy as well. Put him in the weight room and let Flood work his magic. With last years class, he can take 2-3 years to develop his body to become a 6’7 machine.
  16. Let’s fucking go. We’re going to have plenty of speed guys in Thompson, Hall, Niblett, Cook. He likes players that can win 1 on 1s and can be mismatches. If he’s the floor for this WR class, then it going to be a good fucking class.
  17. Maybe not the thread for it, but how have the BMDs in your circle reacted to Arch. So much of recruiting is momentum and results tend to drive more interest and money whether it’s for facility upgrades, etc. With Arch on board, do you anticipate the boosters doing what they can to help bring in a #1 type class? Despite 5-7, there’s a lot to sell to the elite recruits right now. They will play in the SEC in their 2nd year it looks like, facilities all upgraded, coaches that have developed NFL talent at other stops, and now NiL opportunities. Texas had a lot to overcome the last few years. With Arch on board, it feels like things can ignite and this class can take off and hopefully accelerate our trajectory they way Simms/Redding did for us.
  18. In all of this, our best players on the roster are getting massive NiL deals like Bijan, Worthy, DMO. If we’re offering recruits NiL, we’re giving it to the entire position group like TE and OL. Aggy instead gave their incoming freshman massive deals. It’s going to be a fun locker room when someone of those kids don’t develop and the current players are wondering where their deals are when a backup is getting paid.
  19. Langi can stay here as long as he wants, regardless of coach. The dude seems to love Texas.
  20. If we somehow we get Anthony Hill, Baxter, Cook to commit in the next month, people are going to want to jump on board.
  21. So our potential class on offense is looking like: QB: Arch RB: Baxter, Wisner WR: Cook, Niblett, MHP. I would hold off on taking any more commitments here. Get Peyton/Eli make a few phone calls with Arch to some 5 star national recruits and you’re going to get everyone’s attention. This class can be sick at WR. Keep recruiting Hale and Pettaway though the end and see who else calls OL: Stroh, Chatman, Cojoe. I would keep going after Heard and look nationally. TE: Randle, Shannon, and put the hard sell on Duce Robinson. Who knows, maybe he wants to catch passes from a Manning. Regardless of who ends up in this class, the offense is going to have some big time players.
  22. Solid addition to Burrell. I think if we can lock down the edge guys and close out with Anthony Hill… this will be a a hell of a class on defenses.
  23. It's a black 2015 Mercedes CLA 250. Has a little under 80k miles on it. Interior is spotless. Back bumper has a little scrape that really isn't noticeable. We didn't care to fix it since it's not all that noticeable but easily can be touched up. Was going to tell the buyer we'll knock off a bit off the price incase they wanted to fix it themselves. Kelly Blue Book said 18k. Dealership is offering us 12. Carmax 15. Haven't tried Carvana yet. My friend said they got the best offer from Carvana. Might try that next just to get it off my hands.
  24. I got a 18-19k Kelly blue book value and comparable vehicles with model and mileage are selling for 23-24k. The dealership offered us 12 lol. I’ve never sold a car so just hoping I don’t get scammed somehow.
  25. Ordered a car in April looks like it will be delivered 1st week of July. Now if I would stop getting lowballed for the trade in of the current vehicle.
