  1. Nothing says stay away from the site than a bunch of assholes arguing about the same shit over and over and over.
  2. This shit is coming across the Popular feed. No need to go to that sub.
  3. Someone tell this motherfucker that 2005 called and wants it's fauxhawk back. A grown ass man in 2024 is still sporting that shit, on TV no less. Please no one tell him about frosted tips.
  4. why you gotta bring Vic into this?
  5. Yesterday they showed a 145 yard approach which was playing 190 into the fan. I think the wind is worse today.
  6. Rory: so there's a chance?
  7. Good news! My go to pron sites still work. Companies should seek IT admins from pron companies. Those sites never go down. Imagine how much war humanity would wage if we didn't have access to fine bitches.
  8. "Obviously he doesn't have 190 club head speed which bends the centrifugal force of gravity when the wind is blowing that hard." - Bryson, probably
  9. Same thing. No patches after Thu COB. It's asking a lot to unfuck shit one day before the weekend. Sun nigh thru Wed night/Thu morning was my company's window.
  10. That is definitely something I would never publicly tell anyone. But again, poor people don't know better.
  11. The wind is brutal. Both Mc and Homa missing the green 10-15 yards short on a 140 yard approach.
  12. Well, let's start with these degenerate asshats pushing code on a Friday. Think of all the IT people who are going to have to work all weekend. Those same IT people will be sure to start looking at competitor software this weekend as they are working. Cloudstrike done fuck themselves good.
  13. It's asshats who fly once in every 3 years. I used to get mad about dipshits crowding the boarding line when they are group 90 or someshit, when they rush up to move 5 people ahead on deboarding, when they pay for the cheapest seats and play dumb when you tell them they are in your seat after they ask you to sit somewhere else. Unless the plane doesn't take off, I miss my connection, I cannot sit in my seats which I paid for or I can never deboard, I'm usually chill and accept the asshats for the poor bastards that they are.
  14. You're the reason why your company will soon be held ransom by some Russian hacker gang. This is just bad process governance. Not sure how this could have been missed if they have the proper test cases and if they internally test for a period of time before releasing in Prod. Not sure how a 83 BILLION dollar company is this inept?
  15. I learned my lesson after GoT. It was re-enforced with the Obi series. Not watching any series until the end when reviews come out. Hollywood has very low standards now. Is it shit? Yes But will it make money? Yes, probably. Ok, let's do it. And cut back on everything, special effects, hire cheapest writers in fact check out writers of fan fiction on reddit, hire actors/actresses who will work for food...you get the idea.
  16. I did not invest a second on this series. I was waiting until the end to see what the feeling was. Judging from this page alone, I'm good with continuing to stay the fuck away. Thanks for watching this shit so that I don't have to. Y'all da real MVP.
  17. MFer insist upon himself. He tries his hardest to make people dislike him.
  18. I like Faldo but what the hell was the shit about low tide and high tide? Was he implying that tides affect the ball flight?
  19. Decades ago, flying from London to Barcelona, I thought damn, this is like a Cancun flight. The Brits treat Barcelona like Texans treat Cancun. Barcelona doesn't need the money like Mexico/Cancun needs American dollars. I'm surprised it took this long for Barcelona residents to push back.
  20. apropos this thread. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/boomers-leaving-america-retire-abroad-110000534.html Boomers are leaving America to retire abroad in droves because the U.S. is just too expensive Fawcett, now 67 and a Spanish resident through marriage, couldn't be happier about his decision. Though his wife still works, he spends his days playing tennis, reading, and going to the beach or cafés with expat friends in Barcelona. He and his wife are able to travel around the continent, even planning a trip to Paris for the Olympics this year. The same lifestyle wouldn't be possible in the U.S., Fawcett says. Housing is much more affordable, food is inexpensive, and the wine is even less so. The mass transit system is a godsend; Fawcett doesn't have a car and doesn't need one to get around. Walkability is also a major benefit. "It's a good life here," says Fawcett, who became a resident in 2019. "Outdoor dining is everywhere, the weather is amazing. Everything is very cheap." Fawcett is part of a growing trend of retirees, spurred by America's retirement crisis, who are moving abroad instead of spending their golden years in the U.S. In December 2022, there were over 700,800 people receiving Social Security payments abroad, according to the most recently available data from the Social Security Administration. In 2000, that figure was less than 400,000. Some move abroad because they simply cannot comfortably live on a fixed retirement income in the U.S., where the costs of housing and healthcare, especially, are becoming increasingly unaffordable. A substantial number of retirees rely almost completely on Social Security payments to make ends meet in the U.S., which average around $1,900 per month. A growing portion of elderly Americans live in poverty, with social services few and far between, if they are accessible at all.
  21. Colorado front range city for me. Arvada, Golden, Loveland, Ft Collins. Close enough to the city for modern day conveniences, close major airport, and doctors and just 15-30 mins from 9-14k feet mountains. If not that, then Portugal or Spain.
