  2. Second for Sting Rays. Decent food. Cold beer. TV's.
  3. Crazy. Brisket, you or someone said above that MAC had the final say when to pull the plug. I'm sure that's a very odd thing to be conscious of.
  4. How many starting guards we got now?
  5. VY was the freakiest player that ever wore burnt orange. And I remember Earl, and Ricky, and Jamaal.
  6. Unpopular opinion amnesty: Brantley will never take another major league at-bat.
  7. Bob Uecker =/= Dead
  8. Well, my GGGGGGGGrandfather Peter Stuyvesant handed over New Amsterdam to the British then fled the country.
  9. Astros weren't playing last night so we are sitting in a quiet room with no TV. "I can't just sit here in the quiet", she leaves the room to binge watch "Everybody Loves Raymond" in the bedroom. Worked out for me OK this time. I can now put in my noise canceling earbuds, and listen to my iPad stuff without someone trying to talk to me about whatever the neighbors kids are up to.
  10. It's stupid to have a 18" wall in the middle of your fairway, but that's beside the point.

  12. Compliance issues will most likely govern the timeline for the next flight way more than repairing the launch pad.
  13. You must have come from the Austin direction. Coming from Houston, the 20-25 mph wind was in our faces.
  14. I had regular ramen today, so this hits close to home.
  15. Or what the label looks like.
  16. That cheese pizza looks tasty
  17. Just started this. One of my favorite movies of all time.
  18. My body is ready for the mid season surge.

  20. W. T. F. re: Ads Chrome on a PC laptop.
  21. I think Eric Berger said it best, that SpaceX iterative test method is messy but effective. Just different than the ultra risk averse approach we are used to seeing in the last 30 years from NASA. This method will converge on a solution much faster. Anyone have any idea if/when this launch vehicle will be rated for human flight? And what mission that would be? I’m thinking the first operational missions would be related to the lunar lander / lunar rendezvous equipment.
  22. It looked in the video like the thing was tumbling end over end at the flight termination. I guess they had a pretty wide arc of GOM closed off for the launch. edit to add - It’s pretty bizarre to see a rocket that size completely out of control.
