  1. It's weird how the Astros keep pulling gems out of their "league worst farm system" Other teams must be completely stacked with rookies and guys that are still pre-arb.
  2. Is that not blocking the plate? Maybe we should check on that, since that other one was discussed for 5 minutes.
  3. oh shit! Matthews FTW!
  4. Nice AB by Trammel to get on base. Just need another jack from Brice to take the lead...
  5. Wow, Chas almost got a hit there!
  6. Nice job to get out of that jam. Now get a few runs to get Framber another W.
  7. Nice play to save a run there.
  8. This ump has his zone shifted about 3 inches towards the first base line. So weird, it's like he's looking at everything from an angle rather than head on.
  9. Nice snag by Framber. This HPU is not giving strikes on the corners. Gonna be interesting to see if the zone stays tight all night.
  10. I just use pirate sites since it's usually blacked out for me. https://www.streameast.sk/mlb/houston-astros-arizona-diamondbacks-5/
  11. Cheap contract, low risk, sure why not. If nothing else, he can help match salaries in a trade at the deadline.
  12. I think MPJ has been a good (above average) defender in the past, but last year he had some shoulder issues that really impacted both his offense and defense. I don't think last year is the best one to consider for his future defensive value, he was obviously hobbled but kept playing due to necessity. I would think after a full off-season he will come back into form. But I would agree that last year he was pretty bad on D. Cam is not a good defender though. Now whether that is because he was on a shitty team with the Nets, had a bad coach, or just didn't care about defense, I don't know. Certainly there is room for him to grow, and a huge incentive for him to play hard both ways in Denver, but I don't think it's going to have a huge impact. He will the the third/fourth option on this offense and will need to make his money via sharp shooting and being a team player. MPJ when healthy is a better defender overall, maybe only by a few points per possession. However, swapping them and getting Cam who is about ~6% better at hitting 3s may end up being a huge win for Denver.
  13. You're right. I didn't think anyone would give a shit enough to write anything about the shitty Cam. My bad. Cam Johnson will be interesting to watch this season. He will finally have a real point guard who is incredible at creating open looks, and he has a much higher shooting % than MPJ did. What they lose in defense may be greatly out gained in offense. Nuggets fans should be very high on their team now.
  14. They need Obama in jail, so that when Trump runs for a third term, Obama won't able to challenge him.
  15. I love when the Internet finds a new meme to get behind and run it into the ground. SIAP
  16. The main things with Cam is he has been more healthy than MPJ, can shoot like 40% from 3 and make his own shots in ISO. That's valuable to the Nuggets for a lot of reasons, and I think being on the court with Jokic is gonna be extremely beneficial to him. The looks he's going to get there will be so much higher quality than what he got with the Nets. He could really flourish, or he could wither in the spotlight. Will be fun to follow them, the Thunder and Rockets next year as they all vie for the top spot in the West. #1 is gonna be a very valuable position if they get to avoid the other 2 teams.
  17. Imagine the alternative universe where Matt Gaetz is AG and he's the one running point on all this Epstein stuff. I bet he would have said some interesting stuff about it. He would be constantly attacked for his underage trafficking investigation too, which would make this even more entertaining.
  18. I'll root for the team that's not actively protecting child rapists, thanks. The Dems don't care who is included in the potential friendly fire, and I'm happy to see that. Bill Clinton is definitely in there, and I would have no problem seeing him locked away for life. I would imagine other Dems in office are also going to be caught up in it, and quite a few Republicans too, many actively serving in this administration. I would expect the party of "morals" and "law and order" would want to see justice for the Epstein sex trafficking and rape victims, but as you can see above, 220 of them couldn't even bother to vote for a ceremonial nudge to make the criminals names public. We can't even get this administration to say there is an active investigation that would be impacted by the release. Instead it's all misdirection and pretending it doesn't exist, or it's a "hoax." It all just screams "I'm guilty" for Trump, and he should go down for it. Probably won't happen, but we can all dream.
  19. Odd, it would appear that 210 Dems 'in power' in the House want it released. Not that this resolution would be binding or anything anyways, but it is funny that the R's were able to find just 1 more vote than the Dems had present to shut this down, and then let some of their people not vote on it to save face or something. It's interesting who didn't vote for the R's, since every one of these people won their district easily. I wonder why they don't vote to release the files? What are they scared of? Trump/Bondi/Patel would ignore this resolution if it passed anyways. During a recent House vote on a procedural measure related to the release of Jeffrey Epstein files (Roll Call 195 on H. Res. 580), Nine Republicans abstained from voting: Andy Ogles (TN) Michael McCaul (TX) Thomas Massie (KY) Barry Loudermilk (GA) Wesley Hunt (TX) Morgan Lutrell (TX) Mark Green (TN) Monica De La Cruz (TX) Buddy Carter (GA)
  20. Didn't he call the pee tape a hoax?
