April 26, 20241 yr Winn is encouraging. Things could look up if he turns out to be a legit high leverage relief guy all season. That would be yuge.
April 26, 20241 yr Some of the struggling bats are frustrating, but the bullpen stability is a nice change. Quote Over the last four games, the bullpen has held opponents to just one unearned run over 15 innings on five hits, three walks and 16 strikeouts. https://www.mlb.com/news/rangers-lose-series-to-mariners-but-bullpen-thriving

April 26, 20241 yr Just a reminder, and somebody mentioned it earlier but didn't use the words: The Texas Rangers are the World Champions. Have a good World Champion Friday, everybody.
April 26, 20241 yr This team is an interesting watch. As others have pointed the bullpen is not a full blown liability. Starting pitching is meh at times but they can battle. Just need to cut down on mistakes. Bats are a work in progress but I think that had to be expected. Corey is still working through getting things back together. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks he gets it back. Carter and Langford are starting to flash. I am hopeful it will all start to mesh at the right time soon.
April 26, 20241 yr About as A team as we can get. Reds starter tonight hasn't been all that great. Hopefully Nate doesn't walk everyone again.
April 26, 20241 yr Yeah but Scherzer will come back soon, pitch well and stay healthy. Or at least a couple of those 3.
April 27, 20241 yr It was said on a recent broadcast, maybe last Sunday's ESPN telecast, but the pitching staff as a whole has the fourth most walks allowed in MLB.
