Only having one really tough opponent in Oregon during the regular season absolutely had a LOT to do with how well they're season went...beating OSU in the Big 10 title game solidified it.

Indiana is a good team. They beat Ohio State without their #1 receiver who went down in the first quarter. We couldn’t even beat Ohio State with our #1 Wingo on the field.

But we did not have our # 1 Moseley. I’m not sure Wingo got over his heat exhaustion until mid-year.

As far as the Aggies-went-7-1-data point, they played 8 SEC games.

In the table below, the red line separates the top half of the SEC from the bottom half, and the green lines mark the 8 opponents the Aggies played. Whom they played may have helped embellish their record.

If aggy had only played Kentucky instead of us that last game, they still would have failed to score a TD in their playoff game.

I also think it's crazy to just forgive sark for everything because he beat a now exposed dogshit aggy like it was something that was redeeming.

The win is great, but a real killer instinct coach knows you are on the bubble and destroying them and consuming their soul on national TV gets you a real shot into the playoffs.

Made the playoffs in year one. At Indiana.
Sark was 8-5 in year two. At poor, resource-challenged Texas.

I do think Sark is a better coach than Cignetti. Cignetti isn't as smart, so he has to keep his team focused and playing at a very high level throughout the game, whereas Sark can have his team come out flat like they did against Florida or in the second half vs Kentucky, Arizona State and Vanderbilt, and still pull out the win. 😡

Does anyone know if Ohio State and Michigan fans are up in arms about scheduling Texas?

Irving Meyers has said he’d consider getting out of the Texas game if he were Ryan Day

Dallas Wilson is staying at Florida. Cam Coleman's price is going to be high. No Wilson, no Williams.

I'm guessing Goosby announces his decision within the next 24 hours. Hopefully Wingo and Mosley are healthy by the start of next season, but we still need to grab a stud WR in the portal

I know this isn't popular around here but I like what we have in the receiver room Sark just needs to expand his rotation. They all get open but I think the drops, outside of Wingo, are just simply not getting enough reps. Most of the receivers are running with Caldwell and there is a different velocity from Arch. All of them get plenty open so I say spend on the line and another back. If a superstar come along then throw the bag but only if they are an absolute dog.

All the young guys looked competent on the other side of the ball too. If Boom is the same defensive mind he once was we are winning a title.

That’s not going to happen. Circle of trust or no PT

Agreed. Receiver isn’t close to a need. OL, RB, DL, Safeties, maybe Corners. In that order.

Only one College Football Team has won every New Year’s Six Bowl Game ...

you only get one guess
